He gave me a big grin. "Well, I'm glad you like it. After all, it's my job to ensure my guests are having a good time." My eyes widened slightly as I realized that this was his house and his party. He paused for a second before continuing with a slightly confused expression. "But I don't really remember you. Can ya tell me your name again?"

"Stacy." I said shyly. "My name's Stacy." He smiled at me, before sticking his hand out so I could shake it.

"Well it's nice to meet you Stacy." His hand was warm and slightly calloused. "But if ya don't mind me asking, who invited you? I don't remember ever seeing you around?" I blushed a little because he probably thought I was intruding. Or trying to crash the party.

"Well I just moved here. Mason took me here." I frowned because I couldn't seem to remember Mason's last name.

"Mason Johnson?" It didn't sound familiar, but it could be right.

"Um, yeah. I think so." I replied awkwardly.

"Uh, well ok. I guess you better get going. See you around!" He waved as we parted ways. I waved back awkwardly, then went to go find Mason. Stupid Mason. Why'd you have to go abandon me?

I walked by the living room and saw that the tv was in, and some kids were playing Just Dance Wii. They looked like they were having a lot of fun. I hadn't played video games in a long time.

Someone bumped into me from behind, and I stumbled forward just as the song they were dancing to ended.

"Here." A guy with black hair and blue eyes offered me his controller. "You can play."

"Oh no, it's ok. I don't really want to play." I said trying to back up.

"No, no. I insist!" He trust the controller in my hands and I couldn't refuse.

Oh dear. This was going to be one long night.

Well it turns out I'm not that bad at Just Dance, once I got the hang of it. I finished the song we were on, and then handed the remote to someone else so they could have a turn.

I gave my controller to a girl with blonde hair pulled up into a ponytail. I gave her a small smile as I put the controller in her hand. She took it gratefully, then turned around and began to play.

I suppose I should go find Mason now.

Oh my gosh! Mason! How long had I been playing Just Dance? I didn't have a watch so I went into the kitchen. Wow, I had been playing for about 25 minutes. Hot dang.

I walked downstairs to try and find Mason. He wasn't in the game room, or the second living room downstairs. No one was in the bathroom so he wasn't in there. There was a few doors in the hallway, so I decided to try those.

The first room I tried was empty. I tried the second one, but it was locked. I knocked lightly on it.

"Hello? Mason?" I asked timidly. There was some shuffling before I heard a slightly muffled reply.

"No. There's no Mason in here." I shuddered. I could only imagine what they could be doing in there with the door locked at a party. I moved on to the third door, but it was just a hallway closet. There was only one door left. I tried the last door, and it creaked when I opened it. That's not creepy at all.

I walked in to find two people making out. I could feel my cheeks flush and mumbled my apologizes before turning to close the door.

"Stacty?" I'd recognize that voice anywhere.

I quickly whirled around to confirm my suspicions, and sure enough, my eyes were met by two bright green orbs.

I felt my knees go weak. Some blonde bimbo was making out with Mason. How could he?? I hate to admit it, but she was quite a bit more attractive than me. She had straight blonde hair, and deep blue eyes.

"I-I'm sorry." I said again before hurriedly scampering out of the room, feeling hot tears sting at my eyes. I ignored the pain in my leg as I walked a bit faster than I probably should have.

I had been so stupid to let myself fall for a guy I barely knew. I was so stupid to trust a guy I had only just met. From the moment I met him, I could tell he must've been a player, but I kept trying to convince myself that maybe he would change for me. I had been so dang stupid.

Stupid, stupid, STUPID.

"Stacy, wait!" I heard heavy footsteps behind me as Mason chased after me. I kept walking and ignored him as he called out to me. We were drawing a few eyes as I stormed away.

"Stacy-"

"Just stop Mason." I whirled around to face Mason. "Just stop." I looked up to Mason's green eyes, and let him see the hurt in mine." You screwed up, and I think we need a break." I had always thought of myself as tough, strong, but only physically. This, this was a different type of strength, one that I did not have, and I heard my voice crack a little at the end.

"Stacy, I-" Mason reached out to grab my hand, but I jerked it away from him.

"Don't." Hurt flashed through Mason's eyes, but I didn't want to hear hat he had to say. Not when my wounds were so fresh. I took the opportunity of Mason'a shock and hurt to storm off towards home. Mason didn't bother to follow me this time.

Good. Let him go back to kissing that blonde slut. I shouldn't even be this upset, I barely know the guy!
