Izuku flopped down on his bed with a groan, pulling out his phone to text his best friend.

From Izuku: That was the absolutely worst date ever! Whatever made you think I'd like THEM?!

Izuku hit send, fiddling with the phone a moment before he thought of something else to send.

From Izuku: You're so grounded from setting me up with people.

He hit send again before typing once more

From Izuku: I mean it! GROUNDED!

He sent that and tossed his phone to the side, satisfied with the amount of annoyance he was showing his best friend. Recently his boyfriend had dumped him, in hindsight, it was for the best, he wasn't a very nice guy and Izuku was a people pleaser. The thing about this guy was that he was never pleased! He always had something negative to say to or about Izuku and Izuku though everything was his fault which it obviously wasn't.

Well his best friend katsuki had been setting him up with blind dates for weeks, this one was the worst. Izuku groaned just thinking of the dates he's been on, they all ended awfully, he hated katsuki.

Hitoshi blinked down at his phone, chucking at the apparent rage coming through the text. He had no idea who it was, but figured he could have some fun.

From Hitoshi: Do I get time off for good behavior?

Izuku's phone almost tumbled from his hands. The hell? He thought.

From Izuku: Um are you sick?

He sent back quickly and Hitoshi grinned, flipping his feet onto his table, leaning back to settle in.

From Hitoshi: Not that I'm aware of why?

Izuku shook his head?

From Izuku: Nevermind. You're not getting out of this shit storm you've created, I had to leave through the bathroom window!

He typed quickly with a huff

From Hitoshi: That bad huh?

Izuku frowned.

From Izuku: YES!

He responded.

From Izuku: I hate you.

He added as an after thought.

From Hitoshi: Fun, considering I haven't even met you.

From Izuku: You're not funny, katsuki. That date really sucked

Hitoshi was delighted, laughing loud and waving off denki look from where he was doing paperwork.

From Hitoshi: Who is katsuki? I'm sorry your date sucked

Izuku looked at his phone and checked the number, he was positive that katsuki was just screwing with him, but sure enough, it wasn't katsuki's number just his name, Izuku flushed before responding.

From Izuku: I am so sorry, i tried to.... enhance.... my phone and it must have mixed up some names and numbers.

Hitoshi frowned, looking at his phone in confusion.

From Hitoshi: Enhance? How so?

Izuku flushed even more even though the other person couldn't see him.

From Izuku: I had a few ideas.... but I don't exactly have the best tools laying around, hence the number issue.

Hitoshi was interested now, absolutely bringing up a Holo-screen.

From Hitoshi: Ideas like what? I'm curious.

Izuku shook his head.

From Izuku: I wouldn't want to bore you, most people kinda zone out when I start talking about technology.

From Hitoshi: Promise i won't.

Izuku bit his lip, deciding if you should tell this person his ideas or not, with a shrug he started to text back.

From Izuku: I am... well... for one...

Izuku ended up texting the person one of the longest text messages he thinks he's ever sent and it's probably looked like gibberish to the person on the other end but he didn't care, it was nice to have someone interested enough to ask.

Hitoshi blinked in genuine surprise at some of the ideas. Oh, he liked this. He leaned forward, furiously typing in the holo-screen.

From Hitoshi: Those would definitely be improvements! Is there anything appearance wise you'd change?

Izuku thought for a minute before responding, sending different size specs for the screen, and different colors that would be popular, along with his personal favorite, the deep red with a gold outline for the screen before hitting send.

Hitoshi's eyebrows rose. "Hey, denki, come see this." He called, flicking the prototype picture of the phones up into a bigger holo-screen.

From Hitoshi: The red one WOULD be amazing. What's your name anyway?

Denki walked over, eyebrow raised "Where did you get these.... you know what? Nevermind, they look great." He settled on, he'd learned long ago not to ask his best friend about a project, he'd be there for hours. Izuku smiled at the text before responding.

From Izuku: Right! It's my favorite colors.

He sent, forgetting to answer the question.

From Izuku: I'm Izuku.

Hitoshi just grinned at denki waving his phone. "Wrong number text from someone that had been tinkering with his phone." He offered.

From Hitoshi: Hello Izuku. I'm Hitoshi.

Oh, hell no, Hitoshi wasn't going to say his last name, he doesn't want to change his number... AGAIN.

From Izuku: Nice to meet you! It's nice having someone I can spew tech babble and not completely bore them.

From Hitoshi: Tech lingo is my first language. Taught to me at my nanny's knee.

Izuku laughed.

From Izuku: I'm so ready to get to MIT. I need to be among my own kind

From Hitoshi: There are other ones where geeks rules too, caltech, unistar, i think berkley has it too?

Hitoshi blinked.

From Hitoshi: Wait, how old are you?

Izuku thought about lying, but he'd already said he wasn't in college yet so he just went ahead and was honest.

From Izuku: I'm 18, will be 19 soon

Hitoshi relaxed a bit, smiling.

From Hitoshi: Ah. Makes more sense now. When do you have to decide on a college.

Izuku had thought about all other choices, but he really wanted MIT.

From Izuku: I really want MIT, I'm just waiting to see if i got in. It's that longest wait of my life.

From Hitoshi: I bet you did. The phone stuff was brilliant.

Izuku found himself blushing at the praise.

From Izuku: Thank you.

From Hitoshi: You're welcome.
