Tanjiro's heart begins to pound faster when he smells blood from outside. But more importantly, he smells fear and distress coming from YOU!

"(Y/N) chan's in danger!" Tanjiro yells out. He takes off running, leaving the two siblings in the dust. Please be okay. Please be okay, he prays. When he finally reached outside, he saw a couple of things that shocked him. The first thing he sees is Zenitsu is sporting a black eye and is black and blue all over, hugging Nezuko's box. Seeing that reminded him how he saw Nezuko protecting their youngest sibling. The next shocking thing he sees is you fighting the mysterious boar person. Despite you covered in sweat, he smells your determination to protect Nezuko and Zenitsu. "(Y/N) chan!" Tanjiro calls out.

You barely looked at your friend before dodging Inosuke's blade that was about to shred your face off. Taking advantage of the small opening Inosuke has left, you grab his right wrist and twist to make him drop his sword. You then immediately kicked the sword away from him and took on a fighting pose.

"Ha! You think you have weakened me by taking away one of my swords?! That still won't do you any good, worm!" Inosuke chuckles.

"That wasn't my intention! I did that to try to de-escalate the situation!" You replied. "None of us want to fight you!"

He angrily pointed his sword at you before pointing it at Zenitsu. "If you're not gonna fight, then get the hell out of my way! Unless you want to end up like your friend!" Inosuke threatened.

You and Tanjiro glanced over at the blonde who is still holding onto the box. "Tanjiro...I protected it. Because you said...this was more important than your life." Zenitsu whimpers.

Your heart breaks hearing him whimper like that. All of this is your fault. When you and Inosuke started fighting, Zenitsu immediately jumped in between you because in his words "needed to protect his future wife". Unfortunately for the blonde, Inosuke easily kicked his ass. So you allowed Zenitsu to protect the box while you handled the wild child. Well all you did is just dance around Inosuke while he's trying to shred you into pieces.

"After all the bluster, neither of you two even draw your swords, you dumbasses!" Inosuke hissed.

"You're the dumbass for not knowing why we didn't draw our swords!" You retorted.

"....You talk funny. I can't understand what you're saying sometimes!" Inosuke yells.

Aw crap! Tanjiro panics. If there's one thing you're insecure about, it's about you being a foreigner that talks in a noticeable foreign accent. He always smells the shame and embarrassment from you when elders scold you for not learning how to speak properly. But for some reason he's not smelling shame from you. No. He instead smells ungodly rage from you.

Your entire body shakes like a leaf as you curl your fist. Who in the hell does he think he is?! Tanjiro and Zenitsu understand me with no problems. Even strangers I just met can understand me. When you look up at the boar, your face  scared all the birds around. In a blink of an eye, you zoomed in front of his face and deck him. Inosuke quickly recovers and begins to fight back with boar style. Thanks to Grandpa teaching you hand to hand combat, you begin to lay out a series of attacks.

"How dare you think I talk 'funny'! You try learning another language! Especially when you magically get teleported from a different universe! I worked my ass off to learn Japanese so that I won't get killed so easily!" You raged.

"S-Scary..." Zenitsu shuddered.

"(Y/N) chan, calm down! I don't think you talk funny and I agree that you work really hard to learn our language! So please stop fighting him!" Tanjiro pleaded. But you ignored him. You performed a series of breakdances with a bit of ballet to try to knock Inosuke off his feet. But the damn pig is way more skilled than you. Since you're still blinded by your rage, you didn't see his fist making contact with your ribs. You got sent flying away. "(Y/N) chan!" Tanjiro shouted.
