After the two of you ate breakfast at the inn, you separated yourself from the siblings. Knowing that you're gonna run into Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Tsuzumi demon; you shop around for extra food. All of you are gonna need it for strength to defeat that demon. Plus the spider family. As you finished shopping, Pedro comes flying towards you

"Kaw kaw! Kaw kaw! (L/N) (Y/N)! Join up with Tanjiro! South-southeast!" Pedro squawk.

"I don't know where South-southeast is! I don't know my direction!" You roared.

"South-southeast!" Pedro repeated before landing on top of your head. You roll your eyes in annoyance and walk back to where Tanjiro is waiting for you. It wasn't that far of a walk since you spotted Tanjiro at the road that leaves Tokyo.

"(Y/N) chan! Over here!" Tanjiro waves. You smiled and ran towards him. "Did your crow give you a new mission?" He asked.

"Yeah, he told me to go North and to investigate a coal mining town." You answered. Tanjiro's face fell in disappointment and sadness.

"You mean to tell me we're gonna be separated for awhile?" He asked. You were about to laugh and make fun of him when he suddenly started to comedically cry. River of tears burst out from his eye sockets as he tightly embraced you. "I'm gonna miss you so much!" Tanjiro wails.

"Tanjiro! C-Calm down! I was only playing you!" You exclaimed.

"Huh?"

"I was just teasing you. Pedro told me to join you so that we can go South-southeast together."

"Oh."

Tanjiro's red in the face for acting like a fool. You apologized to him before grabbing his hand to lead the way. "What are you standing around for? Come on! We got a demon to kill." You wink while smiling at him. Tanjiro nodded and he led the way since unlike you, he's good with direction.

"Please!" You and Tanjiro suddenly froze at the loud voice. You look up ahead to see Zenitsu on his knees clinging on to the poor girl. The pikachu is crying his eyes out. "Please! Please! Please! Please marry me! I could die any day, you know! That's why I want you to marry me! So please! Please, I'm begging you!" Zenitsu pleaded.

"W-What's up with that? What on Earth?" Tanjiro muttered. Chuntaro flies on Tanjiro's palm and begins to chirp helplessly at him. You have no idea what he's saying, but it's obvious he's complaining about Zenitsu. "I see! Gotcha! "I'll do something about it!" Tanjiro nodded.

Chintaro began to glow as stars appeared in his eyes.

"So cute!" You squealed. You offered your hand to the sparrow and he surprisingly jumped on top of your palms. You then put Chuntaro on top of your head next to Pedro. "Okay Tanji, you deal with the boy and I'll help the girl." You said.

"Right!"

"Please! I'm begging you! I have no one left! I'm begging-"

The Pikachu got cut off by you grabbing his hands off the poor girl and Tanjiro grabbing him by the back of his collar. You gently fixed her kimono which had gotten wrinkled due to Zenitsu grabbing it too long. "You okay, miss?" You asked.

"I am, thanks to you two." She replied

"What do you think you're doing right in the middle of the road? Can't you see she wants no part of you?! And don't go making trouble for your sparrow, either!" Tanjiro scolded him.

"That uniform! You two are from Final Selection!" Zenitsu stated.

"No one I know is anything like you! I don't know you!" Tanjiro roars.

For some reason Zenitsu begins to cry harder. "But we met, remember? We met, remember? You're the one with the problem! Like your memory!" He reminded him.
