Maya's P.O.V
I wake up with Lucas still sleeping . So, I walk into the kitchen . After about an hour, Benjamin comes in. "Mommy?" He asks quietly. "I'm hungry.". "Okay" I laugh , getting him some cereal. Then it hits me. Lucas got a job ! "Lucas !" I yell , running into our room. "You have a job to tend to!" I say , shaking his shoulders."first day of work!" He groans,but then gets up. "I'm gonna be late!" He exclaims, jumping out of bed . "Ya think?!" I ask. After Ava and Mae eat breakfast , and Lucas leaves for work , I get all of the kids dressed. Later in the day , I remember that Ava has a gymnastics recital today.(probably not called recital, but how the heck am I supposed to know what it's called?) After dropping Mae and Benjamin off with Riley , I drive Ava to her gymnastics. Ava is like the fourth person to go . She does beam . There are two beams set up next to each other. I seem to see it in slow motion . Ava does a front walkover , slips, and falls onto the other beam , banging her head. "Ava!!!" I shriek . She's lying there , unconscious , my baby girl.
