Stepping off the train, he was overwhelmed by a wave of nostalgia, despite the city's almost unrecognizable transformation. What had once been a quiet town was now a bustling metropolis, with towering skyscrapers reflecting the vibrant energy of the streets below. Neon lights flashed as the sun set, casting a colorful glow over the crowded sidewalks.

The air buzzed with celebration. Laughter and music mixed with the enticing scents of street food—grilled meats, sweet pastries, and exotic spices. It was festival time, and the entire city seemed alive with joy. Parades of dancers in elaborate costumes wound through the streets to the beat of drums and cymbals. Stalls lined every corner, offering handmade crafts and delicious treats. Fireworks lit up the skyline in bursts of red, blue, and gold.

Amid the revelry, he made his way to the outskirts of the city, where old cobblestone paths led to the ancient organization, The Campus . This was where he had spent his early years, a place now steeped in history. The Campus stood in stark contrast to the city—a realm where time seemed to stand still. Ancient oak trees formed an archway at the entrance, their branches reaching out like guardians. The air here carried the scent of old books, discovery, and the faint whiff of adventure.

Students in practical yet stylish attire hurried between classes, their conversations a blend of everyday chatter and academic theory. He felt like an outsider in this realm of discovery, his unease growing with each step. The Campus seemed to observe him with age-old wisdom, and he couldn't shake the feeling that it recognized him, though he had no memories of this place.

As he walked through the courtyards, past the fountains, his unease turned into a gnawing fear. The Campus, steeped in historical grandeur, seemed to close in around him, concealing secrets and shadows beneath the surface. His gut told him to leave, to turn away and never look back.

But something drew him deeper, something more compelling than fear. With each hesitant step, he ventured closer to the heart of the Campus, shadows lengthening and the air thickening with the scent of mystery. He knew whatever lay ahead would challenge him in ways he couldn't yet foresee.

Despite the fear, a thrill of anticipation surged through him as he stood in front of the entrance to the main hall. Memories flickered back, fragmented and disjointed. Faces of former peers and professors flashed through his mind. Dim recollections reminded him of the purpose that brought him back.

"After everything," he whispered, a determined smile spreading across his face. "I'm back, and this is only the beginning."

The terrace was alive with the flickering dance of flames from the fire pit, casting shadows that played against the walls. Around it, a close-knit group of friends had gathered, settled comfortably in cushioned chairs and on soft blankets spread out on the floor. A small table in their midst held an assortment of snacks and drinks, and the air was filled with the warm aroma of roasted marshmallows.

After an agonizing time on the field, they deserved this peaceful combo of nature mixed with music played from the instruments. Jihoon's love for music hasn't seized despite the heavy schedules and professors complaints. It seemed that nothing was of power to separate him and his passion for creating beautiful melodies and rhymes.

And Jeonghan loved it that way.

He didn't like change.

"So, who's up for another hiking trip next month?" Seungkwan asks, leaning forward eagerly, his face glowing in the firelight.

Another thing that hasn't changed. Seungkwan and his love for hikes, or more precisely anything that connected him with the outside word and accompanied with a physical activity.
