Chapter 4

A/N: I imagine that this is how Jack and Sammy appear after their little skirmish. :{

~Rylee's POV~

The next day was horrid. I got there and couldn't find Sammy or Lexi. Olivia and her cheerleaders decided to pester me. They kept throwing insults at me like, whore, slut, bitch. You know, the usual. It's alright though. I don't really let that stuff get to me. They're just attention seeking sluts who feel stronger when picking on people.

Later on in the day I finally found Lexi and just in time for Biology. I asked where she had been and she said she was at a doctors appointment. Lexi is clinically depressed. So I'm assuming they went in to check on her. I'm also assuming that she's doing a lot better now that I'm around. I did notice that Lexi was awful at being noticed or making new friends. She was so awkward when asking if She could sit with me at lunch. I said yes, obviously, and slowly she's been coming out of her depression shell. I'm super happy for her.

When we walk into biology, people won't shut up about me. They talk about Sammy and I and Jack and I and it's driving me nuts.

"Did you hear? Jack and Jack are becoming pretty famous on Vine!" What?

"Oh yeah? Well that Rylee bitch will be sorry for leaving Gilinsky then!" They laugh and look at me. Then they shut their mouths. Everyone does when I walk in the room. Great, I'm the talk of the school. And what's this about Jack and Jack becoming famous on Vine? I know the other Jack, Jack Johnson. Him and Gilinksy have been best friends since 5th grade. But what the hell is vine?

Anyways, I've been thinking about Jack lately. I mean, sure he did cheat on me and every thing but, he made me a better person. In the end I was beyond upset but I've realized that it's not so bad. I'm practically over it. I'm honestly, not a very hateful person. I mean sure, if anyone hurts me or Lexi then I am going to beat them up but I don't hold grudges. Jack just wants me to forgive him. I don't see why I shouldn't. Jack texts me all the time so I still have his number. I decide to send him a text.

Rylee: hey Jack, can you find me after school, we need to talk.

Jack: yeah, of course why do you want to talk tho?

Rylee: you'll just have to wait and see ;)

Jack: there's the girl I miss :)))

Rylee: anyways, I'll see you after school ;)

Jack: alrighty ;))

I set my phone down and just keep waiting for the day to roll on by. Still haven't seen Sammy all day. I'm wondering if he even came to school.

After school, I say goodbye to Lexi and wait around for Gilinsky. I mean Jack. Shit, Sammy is growing on me...

"Rylee." I hear Jack say my name and turn around to face him. He looks terrible... His nose looks busted and the only way I would know that is because it's all bandaged up. Sammy really did a number on him. I mean, I saw his face yesterday but it was all bloody. Now I see his face is a bruised and his nose is wrapped up.

"Oh my gosh, Jack..." I whisper, feeling genuinely sorry for what Sammy and I did... "I'm so sorry." I walk up to him.

"It's alright. I'm really sorry for punching you. It was meant for Sammy." He smiled slightly at me.

"I really wish you guys wouldn't fight." I look up into his chocolate eyes.

"Then he should stay away from you." Jack looks mad again.

"You can't blame him. His girlfriend cheated on him with you. He can't help but be mad." I try to reason with him.

"Whatever." He rolls his eyes.
