Payback

Introduction

Royal is aware of the stories where the monsters come out at night, though she had no choice to walk out at night as she just came from an interview, one she urgently needed to attend because she really is in need of money so that she can  support her younger siblings Rowan Rein and Roman Rein . She knows of these monsters because their family was a victim to these monsters especially their parents . Royal reflects back on what happened  that night as she is walking home .

The family of five on their way back from the carnival in Sansville city , the family was so caught up in their joy of having a family day , that they forgot about the monsters lurking around at night capturing and killing everyone so they never noticed the what time it was back then, little Royal was only 12 years old at that time ,oldest of the 3 siblings so when the monsters attacked the family of five the parents protected their children from the front and back, fortunately  only 2 monsters attacked at that time so when Royal's parents told her to take her siblings and run towards the closest house, as they were able to survive when the Kingston family quickly took them inside ,though that was also the time that the three siblings witnessed the murder of their parents and realized how truly brutal and terrifying these creatures were ,draining the last bit of life in their eyes as their teeth seeped into the bodies of the Rein siblings' parents. Heartbroken and enraged as they could only accept that their lovely , amazing parents passed on. Hatred and terror consumed them, yet ultimately they knew they could do nothing about it , they had to accept their fate as they watched their parents die before them through the window. Fortunately these monsters couldn't enter anyone's house .

As she comes back to reality she realizes she's almost close to home so she starts running home as it is getting all darker , but as she takes the corner of Organa Road , 3 houses away from her home she bumps into one of them , one of the monsters called Alaki (the villagers came up with this name) . Royal stops , steps back, in terror as the monster faces her , hunger consuming his eyes as he locked onto his prey , something he finally found after hours of searching for something on the streets , however as humans got smarter and knew how to hide so they can escape them. Royal starts running back , trying to escape the monster , her will to live is too strong ,she still needs to support Rowan and Roman  so she runs to try to escape from her fate but the Alaki is to strong and fast for her so he catches up to her in no time. He pulls onto her backpack forcing her to stop but she's a fighter she immediately shirks the backpack off her shoulders continues to run , however he catches quickly up to her grabs her by the arm , though she bites into him hoping he can feel some sort of pain so that he can let go but unfortunately  Alakis' feels no pain. He gets angrier because the little human bit him so he grabs her by the head and immediately seeps his teeth into her neck draining the life out of her bit by bit , she kicks and punches him putting up strong resistance, not wanting to give up but  she succumbs to the darkness and overwhelming feeling of death.
