Chapter 20

LISA'S POV:

It's been 2 weeks since Lauren start to talk to her therapist and to us. She's doing much better which is great. Her ribs and arm are healed and she's allowed to walk a bit and she enjoys it. We all help her a lot and we put a cover last week. I think we're getting back to our old life again which is great but we're all a bit scared that John and Emily will come back. 

LISA COME ON!- Christina screamed. We've to go to the studio to record a new song for our EP called renegade. We're all ready excited but also really stressed, we also have to make sure we don't stress Lauren too much because she already has a lot to stress about. I run downstairs to the van and sat down next to Lauren in the very back.

Finally you took hours!- Dani complained and Christina drove away. Lauren was trying to put her support for her legs she got from therapy. It'll help her walk better and longer but it's difficult to put it on your own.

here let me help you- I said and together we managed to put it on

Thanks Lise- She said smiling

You're welcome- I said smiling back. Lauren is getting back to her normal self again which I really missed. She's always joking around and always helps us chill when we're too stressed. We arrived at the studio and walked inside. Christina was going first so we all waited, everyone was doing their own thing. Kathrine was writing something, Amy was listening to music, Dani was texting someone and Lauren was walking around. She had to practise some movements with her legs and she was having a hard time with it. She had to lift her right leg while standing on her left leg but she couldn't lift it without falling. I stood up and walked to her side

You don't put your left leg straight- I said and she stood straight and lift her right left without falling. She put it back smiled

Thanks Lise!- She said hugging me tight, I hugged her back tight. Lauren and I got really close since she start to talk again. We always help each other and we enjoy each other's company.

Lisa it's your turn- Kathrine said walking inside. I nodded and walked to the booth and sang all my parts. When I walked back it was Amy's turn and I saw Chistina and Lauren talking about something, Lauren wasn't looking really happy and Christina was looking a bit mad. They were a bit away from us so we couldn't hear them.

What are they talking about?- I asked Kathirne sitting next to her, Kathrine sighed

Lauren is doing really bad at school and Mom and Dad are thinking about sending her to a public school if she doesn't take it more serious- Kathrine said

What they can't do that, she just start to talk and recover!- I protest

They think that she'll go to a public school when she can walk normal again- Kathrine said obviously not happy with this neither

What does Christina think?- I asked

She doesn't like this, she doesn't want Lauren to go to a public school after everything that happen- Kathrine said and I nodded. After a while they walked towards us and it was Lauren's turn, she wasn't looking happy at all. She just walked past us without saying anything or looking at us. Christina sighed and sat down in front of us.

Ugh I can't believe Mom and Dad are putting so much presure on her- Christina said

Yeah, I mean she has a lot going on and it's normal that school isn't going so well- Kathrine said

We need to help her- I said and they nodded. We spend the rest of the day just recording and we had to wait for hours in the studio so Dani and Lauren were doing their schoolwork.

Lisa can you help me?- Dani asked looking really confused at her mathbook

Sure- I said and sat down next to her. Lauren finished a lot of books and did a lot of schoolwork. She fninished her schoolwork for like 2 days which is a lot but she didn't stop. She really doesn't want to go to that public school. Christina was helping her but she did it mostly by herself.

Alright Lauren that's enough for today- Christina said, I looked at Lauren who was looking really tired

I need to finish this- She said grabbing her english book but Christina took it from her

Lauren you finish schoolwork for 4 days that's enough, I checked everything and you did it great- Christina said but Lauren shooked her head

Mom and Dad need to be happy- She said and grabbed her english book from Christina. After 1 hour we were done in the studio and Dani finish schoolwork for 2 days and Lauren for 5 days. 

Jeez I never worked this much- Dani said when we got into the van

well we were in the studio for the whole day- Amy said and Kathrine drove away. I looked at Lauren who was holding her head

Are you OK?- I asked

Yeah I'm fine my head just hurts- Lauren said

Well it's normal if you work the whole day without taking a break- Christina said. We arrived home and Dani and Lauren told Mom and Dad what they did for school. 

Alright you girls did great- Mom said smiling

And Lauren why did you do work for 5 days?- She asked

I didn't want to disappoint you- Lauren said and Mom and Dad looked shocked

Lauren you never disappoint us, we just don't want you to fail school- Dad said hugging Lauren tight. We spend the rest of the week doing the same thing each day only Lauren did less schoolwork. 

is this a start of our new good life? or is this the beginning of something bad?
