The Day Before

It was the day before. I'm having a cold shower, as all other normal people would do. It was all mundane and cyclical, although it's not that bad nor a magical life. A typical sophomore life at the academy; I have a small circle of friends and genuinely get along with them; at times I've considered myself a wallflower, who does not seek any public attention nor interest in it. However, I'm trying my best to maintain something, at least. I also tend to be drained almost every day until that day occurs. It was on Tuesday morning. I woke up and went to the shower, but this time, I bathed with hot water. Strangely, I got to school on time, and nothing disastrous has happened to me until the first session has ended. By that time, I, Sam, and Chris walked together towards the cafeteria, and as usual, we told jokes that only we could understand. We found a spot on the aisle over the pillars and decided to drop our things on the chairs behind the designated tables. We have engaged in small talks about our lives as students, school subjects, and other school stuff while eating our lunch. It was a typical conversation for a student like us, but the moment broke when that person walked by. From a distance and all those indistinct noises coming from the mass, I immediately noticed her. She has these clips on her midlength hair, thin glasses frames, and headphones over her shoulders. The events were clear as day and brief as a haste, and I just looked upon her until she left that cafeteria. Right after the moment, Sam's muttered something like:

"Hey, are you alright?"

Then I replied, "Holy shit, that happened?"
