The next morning, Aiden slowly blinked his eyes open, his mind still foggy from sleep. He squinted against the early morning light filtering through the window, taking a moment to process where he was. As his vision cleared, he became sharply aware of something—someone—pressed up against him.

Tyler.

Aiden's breath hitched as he realized Tyler's arm was wrapped securely around his waist, pulling him close. And then, as the pieces fell into place, he felt a warm flush spread across his face. Tyler's bare chest was pressed against his back, and Aiden could feel the gentle rise and fall of his breathing. Worse, Tyler's head was nestled in the crook of Aiden's neck, his face practically buried against his shoulder.

Aiden could feel his heart hammering in his chest, the heat rushing to his cheeks. He was blushing—blushing hard—and the realization made him panic slightly. He never blushed like this, not around Tyler. What the hell was going on?

He stared straight ahead, frozen for a moment, not daring to move as he tried to figure out how he'd ended up in this position. Memories of the night before flashed through his mind: the sleepover, the teasing, Taylor forcing Tyler into the bunk with him. But he hadn't expected this... not Tyler, shirtless, practically wrapped around him.

What the hell? Aiden thought to himself, feeling more flustered by the second.

Carefully, trying not to disturb Tyler, Aiden shifted a little, but the movement only caused Tyler to mumble in his sleep and pull Aiden even closer. The contact made Aiden's face burn even hotter.

Great, Aiden thought sarcastically. This is exactly what I needed.

He glanced over his shoulder, trying to get a better look at Tyler. The sight of him sleeping so peacefully, his messy hair falling over his face, made Aiden's heart skip a beat. As much as he tried to stay annoyed and calm, he couldn't help but feel a small smile tug at his lips.

Why the hell does this guy always make things so complicated?

Aiden's blush deepened as he quickly tried to calm his racing heart. The last thing he needed was for Tyler to wake up and catch him acting all weird.

Finally, Aiden carefully lifted Tyler's arm from his waist, slowly maneuvering himself out of the bed. He stood up, stretching and shaking off the lingering awkwardness. His face was still warm from the rush of emotions, but he was determined to play it cool. He wasn't about to let Tyler—or anyone else—see just how flustered he was.

But when he glanced back at the bed, he couldn't help but notice how peaceful Tyler looked, still fast asleep, and his chest tightened with an unfamiliar feeling.

What the hell is wrong with me?

He grabbed the hoodie Tyler had given him the night before and slipped it back on, trying to steady his nerves. Just as he was about to head out of the room, Taylor's voice rang out from downstairs.
