A drowsy groan escapes your mouth as you grip the sheets underneath you. As you open your eyes, the familiar four walls that surround you greet your vision as the blaring alarm on your phone goes off, signalling you rudely to arise from your slumber and get up to get ready. Lazily, you propelled your body upwards, arching your back as you stretch your uncomfortable body. You sigh, blinking as you rummage to find your uniform.
The thing seemed to be quite colorful, hugging your form nicely. it was a simple outfit, really. A white T-shirt with the words 'Superstar Daycare' printed onto it. underneath was a light blue long sleeve that you could change out for a different color if you'd like. Usually optional unless you'd be going outside during autumn as you heard they occasionally did. Bottoms were up to you.
You walked over to the bathroom, cautious to not wake up your sleeping roommate as you walked, and looked into the mirror as you brushed out your hair. You hummed gently, trying to look decent for your first day. Hell knows the kids would most likely comment badly on your appearance if they hadn't been taught manners. You brushed your teeth quickly after, (doing your makeup if you'd like) before shooting out in your favorite practical shoes.
The car ride was nice. It gave your sleepy brain its chance to finally wake up, and it'd such a nice time compared to the first overstimulating step into the Mega Pizza-Plex. Your body flinching as the lights blared like a flashbang in your entry. It was lucky that you started in the morning, right before all of the guests entered.
Suddenly you had been bombarded, an employee with green hair and a black spiked septum piercing had walked up to you. It seems that they would be your guide to your station.
"Hello! You must be Y/n, right? My names Yves, it's nice to meet you. You'll be working in the daycare, I'll lead you to it okay?"
"Aight. Thank you, by the way, quick question. It said there's two other people working with me right? Anything that I'd need to know real quick?"
You asked, shifting your bodyweight as you tilted your head to the side gently. The worked seemed surprised, before letting an 'ohhh', before pausing. After a moment, they responded with a bit of reluctance.
"Okay. . . So no one has actually hangs out with them really. The daycare is a place that's only maintenanced, around once a month. but from what's on their records. . . and from my memory, Sun is a whole lotta clingy, happy-go-lucky kind of, and kind of has trouble with the fact that the kids have to leave at the end of the day. . . ? But that very well could've changed. Moons just kind of chill though, can be a bit aggressive if you don't listen to him, so like. . .I guess you'll get there and meet em' I guess."
You looked at them as if expecting more. Every other main character is popular, yet the one that takes care of kids day in and day out seems to be slightly neglected. Weird. Maybe there'd been a reason. they did kind of look uncomfortable whilst speaking about them. So, in response you'd just nod. It couldn't have been too bad right-?
So, you and Yves start to walk the surprisingly long distance to the daycare, almost exhausting you, and soon, you enter the room, the large gold sculpture of two tall animatronics. . . a bit out of place, but honestly really cool. it was really easy to tell which was which. Sun definitely being the one that stood prouder in the statue, the rays around his face the clearer indicator since Moon had a hat that covered up what you, hopefully assumed to be a bald head underneath.
"Cool right? Don't get used to that though, they got like a massive upgrade recently and they're like. . . a hundred percent cooler. anyways, you better go on down the slide. work starts in thirty minutes, so like, get to know each other I guess?"
They shrug, before beckoning you to the direction of that colorful slide, and finally leaving. After a small moment of hesitation, you found your self going down that slide fast than soap slipping out of someone's hand.
You landed in the ball pit with a crash, letting out a yelp as the large amount of balls as you projectiled at them. You thrashed around a bit, before finding out that you could just. . . stand instead. . . Then the delightful sound of bells soon invaded your ears, leaving you to look around and notice who you thought was Sun. Luckily you thought right. you took notice of every detail. The small cyan colored stripes on his pants, complimenting the primary's of reds, to yellows quite perfectly, to the place of each panel and unique markings.
It felt insane to know that the staff wasn't really fond of such a cool animatronic like him. Especially with the newly discovered designing. After a moment, he turned around with a wide smile. He seemed excited to see you, giggling as he jumped up and down. His rays spun, an unfamiliar function to you that you wondered about the purpose of. He then motioned you over happily, clearly ecstatic to meet this newcomer.
"Come on, come on~! You must be Y/n right? Right? It's oh so nice to meet you."
You stared at him, a bit taken aback about the fact he'd already know your name. If it weren't for his astral appearance, you would've most likely forgotten his name at this point. He must've been waiting for you or something. You trudged through the mess of colorful plastic balls, following the direction that his hands beckoned towards. As soon as you made it onto the solid padded ground, Sun scooped you up into a tight embrace.
"Welcome to the daycare~! I'm Sun, as you probably guessed,"
He giggled gently.
"Now, I see you forgot to take your shoes off. . . but that's alright! You can go ahead and set them over in that cubby over there! You can also set any other belongings there if you'd like!"
He stated in a happy tone, setting you down to follow his rules and do the miniscule task of putting your shoes away. It made sense, you could bust up the ground with shoes.so, you took of those shoes of yours, before aimlessly wandering for a moment, wanting to get used to your surroundings. The darker rooms caught your eyes quickly. Two rooms. One labelled 'Naptime Room', another labelled 'Sensory room'. The sensory had a small sight hung up next to it, saying 'coming soon!' on it.
It seemed they'd be revamping a lot of things, actually. All of the animatronics, and from other things you've seen, they had new golf clubs, dining tables, go-carts, and other stuff. It made sense, being that they haven't really done much of anything involving new stuff and simple upgrades, even if its been open for almost 3-ish years.
"Y/n, come here real quick! Let me show you how to do things."
