Happily rubbing your stomach with a grin after finishing dessert, you stood up and then began to stretch your arms above your head with a grunt. "I should get goin' it was great to pay the little visit, but I have to go curse spirit hunting."
"So late? It's nearly 3 am!" Momo exclaimed earning a tongue click and a smile from you, flashing her a wink as you pointed at her. "Exactly! The most active hour, I kinda got a great inside gossip of this spooky wooky special curse that has a volcano on its head. Pretty rad, isn't it?"
Hearing the conversation from within the kitchen, Jin thought the best way to calm himself down was to distance himself from you. Although, that was what made it more difficult. "She's in the next room and I still can't muster up the courage to even carry a simple conversation with her."
Ken who washed the plates and bowl silently looked at Jin and in the corners of his eyes, the shorter male taking notice of the hint of distraught across Jin's facial.
"I waited like years to be able to see her again, we used to play at the park all the time, and every single time I would bring mochi for her...The day she left I was going to finally tell her how I feel about her."
Trailing off, Jin thought back to the day you had suddenly disappeared. The young Jin waited until it was dark outside with a single wrapped back of mochi in his lap.
He had waited all day from sun up to sun down, and even the cold air had frozen the mochi by the time the street lights turned on. Jin didn't leave until his parents had come to finally force him to leave home with them.
