Jean: That's not good. If you are the only one Mr. Keel has on his side, you'd be the prime suspect should anything happen to any one of them.

MJ: I know. That's why I gotta get this all done in one go. (looks at Jean) I've written out some things that might work but I gotta make sure I don't get caught and I gotta make it all happen like they were accidents.

Melanie Jayne handed Jean her notebook.

MJ: I'm gonna need your help with these.

Jean flipped through Melanie Jayne's note and nods.

Jean: I'll see what I can do.

The school bell rang.

MJ: That's my cue. I gotta run.

Jean: Please be careful, Miss Anderson. I'll be right here.

Melanie Jayne ran back to her class. She sat at her place and got ready for the next class. As she was getting her books from under her desk, a little piece of paper fell onto the floor. It was a note addressed to her.

You should pick your side carefully. He can't protect you. He can't even protect himself.

Melanie Jayne smiled at the note and put it into her pocket. When school was over for the day. Melanie Jayne packed up her things and headed to her limo. She looked a little upset and stressed out. She got into the car and shut the door. Jean got into the driver's seat and shut his door. He looked at her from the rearview mirror.

Jean: What happened?

Melanie Jayne handed Jean the note she found under her desk. Jean read it and put it into his pocket. He told Melanie Jayne that they needed to make a few stops before heading to Victor Keel's house. One of it was the police station. Jean was not one to let anyone threaten Melanie Jayne. If anything happened to her, he would not hesitate to take matters into his own hands and if that ever happened, it wasn't going to end well.

Melanie Jayne just sat quietly. She was exhausted from trying to think of ways to execute her plan in the best possible way that she fell asleep in the backseat of the limo.

She opened her eyes and found herself in the school hallway. There were students rushing like they were all headed somewhere. She followed and saw everyone crowding around something. There were a few boys beating up Victor Keel. They held him up and kicked him in the gut. One of them threw a punch into his face. Another grabbed him by the collar and threw him against the locker. Victor was crying on the floor but everyone else just stood and watched. No one did anything to help him.

Melanie Jayne tried to push the boys aside as she made her way to Victor. He was on the floor, covered in blood. Melanie Jayne tried to speak to him but she couldn't make a sound. Victor was crying and he was slowly passing out. Melanie Jayne cried and cried as she held him. Suddenly, she felt someone shaking her shoulder. It was Jean.

Jean: Miss Anderson! Hey! Wake up!

Melanie Jayne opened her eyes and saw Jean looking at her like he was worried. She realized that she had tears on her face as she got up.

MJ: (rubbing her eyes) What happened? Are we home?

Jean: You were having a bad dream. You were screaming and crying. (hugs Melanie) Are you alright?

Melanie Jayne nods. Jean smiled at her and wiped the tears from her face.

Jean: We are at Mr. Keel's house. Get yourself cleaned up and let's go see how he's doing, huh?

Melanie Jayne nods and smiles and took a deep breath. She got out from her car and saw Warren standing on the porch. She could see him smiling at her as she made her way to the house. Jean told her to go inside while he spoke to Warren outside. Warren told Melanie Jayne that Victor had been waiting to see her all day. He was waiting for her in his bedroom.
