Social Night

She is called Rosa; he said. "But you are beautiful too and tomorrow I will teach you to tango." I thought he was joking but he wasn't. As soon as I walked into the social club the next night I felt someone grab me by my waist. I turned around to see whom's hands were gripping my waist so tightly looking up to see Fernando tilting his head downwards at me with his hair hanging just over his eyes slightly smirking in a smug way. The music starts up and everyone is dancing except for me and fernando, we stand there staring at each other until eventually he breaks eye contact by spinning me around then starting to move his feet guiding me where to go, we laugh and dance not noticing everyone staring at us dancing in the middle of the room.

After we stop to take a break we go find somewhere to sit. I look around and see Wiremu staring at Fernando with hatred. I smirk seeing how jealous he is and stand up holding my hand out to Fernando waiting for him to take it.

He takes my hand I lead him outside away from all the noise and eyes walking with him into the garden out the back where there's a giant water fountain with lights making it look magical in the night light, we sit on the chair staring at it and fernando slides closer so our shoulders are touching, I look over at him and give him a small smile taking in his beauty, and before I know it he kisses me it's a slow kiss not rushed or hard just a soft delicate friction between our lips, it's a subtle hazy feeling like if you were being drifted away by a mellow cloud losing your thought because of the high tension, like freid wool being tied together, after a spiritual 30 seconds of connecting with fernando we pull away with a tinge of blush on our faces.

"I'm sorry Ruby..... I should have asked first, "Fernando says in a deep husky voice. My blush deepens at the hearing of his rough monotone voice and I quickly cross my legs "its ok I liked it " I reply quietly he smiles at that and holds my hand as we just sit there in silence for another 10 minutes. Wiremu rushes out of the hall heading straight to me and fernando he gives fernando a slight side eye then looks at me with worry "Ruby there's a fight going on you need to come inside right now" I start to panic and rush up and into the hall fernando following closely behind as soon as I step into the hall I see Max arguing with one of the girls from our roll call, I stand there confused and fernando stands next to me wrapping an arm around my waist.

Max looks as if he's on the verge of tears. I walk over to him and ask them what's going on, Max looks at me and says that he was dating her but it turns out she was only dating him for a bet and that she was cheating on him with Wiremu. I look at wiremu and walk over to him I slap him in the face making his nose bleed, "how dare you do that you jerk" Max leaves the the dance and walks home and I stand there staring at Wiremu I turn away to walk home but as soon as I do I see Fernando shoving his tongue down another girls throat and when I see her face I cry seeing it's Tia. I sprint towards the door heartbroken and betrayed running into something hard or someone I fall back but just before I hit the ground someone catches me.
