Chapter 5 - missing

"So, I got you a gift...
King said to Shona as they walked along the shore of Dickenson Bay together, hand in hand.

"Oh yeah, what did you get me?."

He stopped and smiled pulling her to him. "I've not seen that invisibility cloak for a while.. so I took it upon myself to get you something real sexy, teal and black lace.. with suspenders and stockings...

She stopped smiling and looked at him. "Do you know how long it takes to put all of that on?.. by the time I get halfway through, the moments gone...

He kissed her lips. "I wanna see you in it.. when the baby has been born...

"I'm glad you said that, I feel like a heifer as it is... without putting on cheese graters and nipple chafers..." she looked into his eyes. "You can definitely kiss me again though."
He held her face and kissed her lips, he made it last too.

They started walking again, it was warm the air was still with just a tiny breeze now and again. They could hear the music from the beach party up ahead of them. "I didn't want her to go to this party.."

"Shes 14 and trying to find her feet.. can you remember being 14?."

She smiled. "My dad was always up all night worrying where I was.."

"There you go.. teenagers try their luck, you just need to know when to reign them in...."

"And how would you know?.. you don't have kids.."

"No but I got family and I see my nieces and nephews and what mischief they can throw up... all i'm saying is you just need to give her the benefit of the doubt sometimes she is at that age... she will come running when she realises where home really is.." he said.

They looked ahead of them and saw Gerrard walking towards them, he had got off of the jet with Shane but made his way straight to the beach to speak to security as he was head off all of Kings security operations across all continents. "Man, I was coming to find you.."

"What is it?."

"Kelsey... She's gone missing from the party... Clipz said she was very drunk and then she tried to have a go at him and caused a scene, he let go of her and she took off, gave them the slip... all of the team are looking for her...

"For god sake!.. Kelsey you lil!.." Shona said angry as hell with her.

"You need to make sure she's found.. I'll take Shona back and I want news within the hour.. If I don't hear shit, I want Clipz in front of me.. is that understood?." King said with assertion.
Gerrard nodded and ran off back along the beach.

Shona looked at Shane. "You were saying... ahhh she drives me insane!..."

He sighed but didn't want to worry her about Kian already being there. Even he didn't think that Kian would be this dumb though.

"You do know who my dad is right?." Kelsey said as she woke and realised she was being held.

"Which one would that be the Fed or the gangsta?" Kian said.

"Shane Chamberlain...

"Oh, so you refer to him as yo daddy." He laughed. "I'm sure Lomax won't be happy with that."

Kelsey looked at him. " what do you want with me? Who are you?."

"I'm Shane's brother, and he owes me and you are gonna come to New York with me until he can give me back what he owes me." He said with a grin.

"No, I am not going anywhere with you...

"don't try me kid!.. you will do exactly as I say.. or, bad things will happen.." he told her.

She went quiet and just looked at him realising that she had got herself into a little bit of a predicament. She was also now wishing that she never drank the rum punch and acted like a fool.

"Get the tickets, we fly out first thing in the morning." He smiled. "Kelsey, you are going to love New York.."

"We tried her cellphone it's off and the GPS has been disabled." Gerrard said to Shane as he arrived at the resort.

" i've got a funny feeling I know who is behind this, I want to make sure that no one leaves this island... Beano, set me up an urgent meeting with the chief of police.."

Beano nodded and left to arrange this. Shane looked at Gerrard. "Where's Clipz?."

"On his way here.."

Shane looked over to where Shona was sitting with Tilly and Maggie now very much worried that Kelsey couldn't be found.
"I'll deal with him, but not here... have him meet me at my villa on Jumby bay island... in fact make sure he gets there, so keep him with you the last thing I want is for him to do a disappearing act." He said. "i'll join you there in the next hour or so."

Gerrard nodded and headed off to do as his boss had said.

Shane walked over to Shona. " we'll find her, it's not that big an island and I have enough people in different locations all over the island that will be looking for her." He pulled her up and gave her a hug.

"This is Kian isn't it?." Shona said.

" I think this may have something to do with him seeing as he arrived here before me... And if it has I will have him handled don't you worry about it. She's only been missing for an hour or two, all flights have been suspended from here... I know the chief of police and he will do anything to help, I don't want you to worry I know that is the most cliche thing to say, but I've got this...do you trust me?." He asked her.

She nodded. "Of course I trust you otherwise I wouldn't be with you, just do what you need to do to get my daughter back please.... I know she is a royal pain in the ass, but she's my baby and my pain in the ass and only I get to kick her ass, she doesn't deserve anything else from anyone else."

"Understood... and if my brother does have her, it's only because he wants something from me... He isn't going to harm her because he knows if he does he has no bargaining chips... so if she is with him she is safe right now." He told her.

Maggie looked at her. "You need food... let me go and get food." She said.

"Send yo man servant" king mocked. "I don't want her left on her own right now I need to head over to Jumby bay.."

Maggie raised her eyebrows. "Oh eye Candy, where are you?." She said looking for Demetrius. " The boss said I can do with you what I please.."

Shane looked at Shona. "I need to get going.. I will sort this, leave it with me I do not want you to worry." He rested his hand on her bump. "I love you."

"I love you too.. just find my baby please." She said and watched as he left to head to  Jumby bay.....
