Blake's POV:

Blake glared at his manager for the second time that morning. He couldn't believe she was making him do this. Or that he actually agreed to do it. He hated high school the first time around and he wondered what possessed her to think that he wanted to go back. Hell, he barely made it out alive the first time. He hated most of his peers and a majority of his teachers, too. Now he had to go back and be one. A FREAKIN teacher of all things.

What was she thinking? Sure he was an actor but he never dreamed of playing this particular role. Of course like all great actors he liked to immerse himself in the character. As a method actor he tried to relate to the character he was portraying but this was killing him. He wasn't 18 anymore but even at 25, high school still scared him. His high school years were long gone. He liked to think that he'd came a long way from the naive kid he'd once been.

He remembered leaving Kansas and moving to LA. Some people back home thought he was crazy because everyone had dreams of being a big time movie star. They told him often that he was an idiot and a dreamer. That he'd never make it or that he talent but not the savvy. He was determined to prove them wrong.

He left home with a one way bus ticket, five hundred dollars in his pocket, and a hunger. LA at first was a huge culture shock. It was far removed from the little town that he grew up in. He felt out of place until he embraced LA style. He ditched the overalls and plaids, bought contacts , and got his braces taken off. Stocked up on acne cream and learned how to lessen his accent.

He worked the evening shift as a bus boy in a restaurant but during the day he went to auditions. At first he thought he wasn't going to make it. Hell, everyone doubted him. They all said that he was crazy to give up a full scholarship to MIT in order to become an actor. They didn't understand his dream but he had plans and it didn't include working a dead end job. He wanted to make something of himself.

Meeting Meghan Riley from O'Ryan Enterprises changed his life. She was a talent scout and agent. She asked him if he was interested in a modeling gig. At first he laughed at the thought. He couldn't imagine himself as a model but she changed his mind. He was actually quite flattered that she wanted him a simple country boy from Kansas to model. He thought that she was joking but she was serious.

He used to see her from time to time at the restaurant. She'd be sitting alone, barking orders on her phone, and typing away on her laptop. Sipping her usual dry red wine and eating the catch of the day. At first she looked like a real ball buster. The wait staff was scared of her. They often fostered her off on the newbies.

He didn't even know that she noticed him. Until she approached him one day while he was busing tables. Now, after six years here he was. He had a successful career. He'd done a lot in his life so far. He traveled around the world and had more then 500 dollars in his bank account. He smiled at the thought of having such humble beginnings. If it wasn't for him stepping out on faith and taking Meghan seriously he might still be busing tables or back home in Kansas.

She saw potential in him. Well so did his mama but all mamas' supported by their babies. According to Meghan she liked his style. She said that he looked like the guy that used to be in that Disney show Even Stevens. Apparently, others agreed because modeling eventually turned into commercials. Staring in commercials eventually led to box office movies. He came a long way from being Conner Burger. He was now Blake Right. Action hero and movie heart throb. He'd won Oscars and sold out box offices. Everywhere he went women threw themselves at him. This was the life he always dreamed of.

Despite is success he never forgot where he came from. He visited home as much as possible. His parents still lived in Kansas on the family farm. His three younger brothers still lived with them. At first his family didn't want him to go but now they were happy for him. He was glad because he loved his family but he just wanted something different. Maybe in a few years he'd retire and move back home. Settle down and start a family but right now he was having fun. Living his life the way he always dreamed. He was young and had a lot more living to do. Besides he didn't have a woman in mind to settle down with.

He had several girlfriends in the past but none of them were the keeping kind. They were more like vapid groupies and socialites. Women who didn't want to work. They wanted to be pampered and spoiled. Not that he was against spoiling his woman but he wanted a jeans and boots type of girl. She could be girly but also be willing to work beside him. When he retired he planned on taking over the family farm. He couldn't imagine any of the women he dated in the past messing up their 100 dollar manicures to help him plant crops or feed the animals. No one knew his plans except for his family and his manager, Meghan.

He stared at Meghan as she talked on the phone. She appeared to be at ease in her blue blazer and matching blue skirt. Her make-up was flawless even at 6:45 in the morning. Heck, he was still a little tired. When he moved to LA he adapted to LA hours. Which meant sleeping all day and partying all night unless there was a shoot. After living in LA for so long he wasn't used to waking up this early. When he lived on the farm well he got up at this time everyday. Drinking from his coffee cup he glanced at the script open on his lap. He was ready. How hard can teaching highschoolers be? He sat in the van waiting patiently. He was still a little wary going back to high school but he was confident that he could do it. He wasn't the presses golden boy for nothing. Over time he received reviews that praised his accurate portrayals of characters. The critics and his fans loved him.

When he was offered the opportunity to work with one of the best directors in the business he jumped on board. Even if that meant going back to high school. He knew subconsciously that this time things would be different. When Meghan told him that the CEO's children went to the school he was going to he felt a tad bit at ease. He'd heard about the CEO's kids but he'd never met them. Apparently, they were twins and this was their senior year. According to the CEO or President as they called him his son was the quarterback of the football team while his little girl was captain of the debate team.

He liked to joke that they were different as sunshine and rain. From their discussions Blake could tell that he loved his children. He even spoke fondly of his first ex-wife Royale Lynn Watson. She was the twins mother. She was also a model and a successful business woman. He'd seen pictures of her but never of their children. They were like most parents in the limelight who tried to keep their kids out of the spotlight as much as possible. He understood because when he became a father he didn't want the press hounding his family. Smiling he shook his head.

It was the boss's idea for him to do his field research at his children's school. His boss promised him that he would be able to control the situation a little better he worked at this school. Blake reread the new script for the role that he would be playing and he liked the changes. He would be portraying an inner city teacher from Chicago. But in real life he was going to be working in a Beverly hills private school. In the movie he was playing the role of an ex-cop turned teacher who is trying to stop a drug cartel from selling drugs using students to prostitute and sell drugs in his school. The president and the director wanted him to see what it was like to really be a teacher.

So for the next eight months he would be the math teacher at Hillside Academy. Since he had excellent grades in school and a degree in mathematics courtesy of the online classes he took. He also took a few education classes. With the help of an emergency teaching license he was more than qualified to teach. Besides the president made a large donation to the school so they allowed him a few allowances. All Blake had to do was go under cover and keep his cool. He had a new name and a new look so things should work out well. He hoped that his students didn't treat him how he treated his teachers.
