Lucy gets to work and everything is normal and after shift she picks up Lily and she goes home
And she gets a text
Ethan-hey 
L-oh hey what's up
Ethan- nothing much just wondering if you have plans later
L-nope I don't think I have anything planned for today
Ethan- we'll be ready at 8:00 I'm going to pick
L-ok
After Lucy call Tamara
L-hey
Tam-hey
L-can you do me a big favor
Tam-depends
L-can you watch Lily tonight I have a date
Tam-ok yeah I can do that
L-Thank you
Tam-so who is it
L-well I meet this guy at a bar
Tam-oh funn well I will see you later
L-yeah thank you

(They end the phone call and Lucy makes dinner for Lily and get ready and waits for her date to pick her up)
Ethan- hey
L-hey
Ethan-dang you look gorgeous
L-thank you you don't look bad  yourself
(They go on there date and it goes well he a nice guy)
Tam-hey
L-oh hey
Tam- how was the date
L-it was actually really nice
Tam-I'm glad
L-yeah
Tam- so are you going to have a second date with him
L-yeah probably he was really nice but I don't know him that well
Tam-ok
(A couple of days later after they had the second date and are there 3rd date)
Lucy-I have something to tell you and I'm sorry I haven't told you before but I just wanted to experience a real relationship but I have a daughter
Ethan-oh umm wow I need time to process this
L-I'm sorry but I get that's you need Time to process
Ethan- thanks
(It becomes awkward and they both head home)
Tam-how was your date
L-it went sideways
Tam-how come
Lucy-well I told him about Lily
Tam-oh
L-yeah and he got weird about it and told me he needed some time to think which I get but than it was really awkward
Tam-oh well I hope that's he's ok with it but if he isn't than he wasn't the right one for you
L-yeah your right
(A day later)
Tam- has you know who said anything
L-nope radio silence
Tam-I'm sorry
L-it's ok I get that's would happened getting with someone who has a kid isn't easy
Tam-yeah
(A couple of hours later)
Ethan- hey Lucy I wanted to tell you that's I thought about it and that I'm ok with you having  a kid and I would love if we could still go out together
L-I would like that a lot and thank you for being understanding
(A couple of days later)
Tam-wow so he responded
L-yeah and im hoping that's I'm not single after this date
Tam-girl bye im taking Lily to my place so have fun be safe
L-girl that is not what I meant
Tam-ok and it's a possibility
L-whatever
(Lucy goes on a really romantic date and than)
Ethan-so I have a question for you
L-ok
Ethan-would you like to be my girlfriend
L-I would love that
(They kiss)
(They finish dinner and are about to leave)
L-so do you wanna go back to my place
Ethan-what about your daughter I think it's a bit to soon to be introduce to her
L-she's with the babysitter
Ethan-ok than
(They head back two Lucy's place and did iykyk and he left in the morning Tamara dropped off Lily at school and Lucy went to work and is hanging about with Angela at lunch)
A-so Lucy what new
L-umm not much
A-are you seeing anyone?
L-actually yes I have a boyfriend

L-well he is really cute and his name is Ethan and  he's works as a LAFD fire fighter
A-oh ok cool how long have you been dating for
L-well he asked me to be his girlfriend yesterday

L-yeah I thought he was gonna ghost me after I told him about Lily but he didn't and he slept over yesterday

(They head back to work and Lucy keeps texting and smiling at her phone throughout the day Tim notices)
