Talking to yourself

In the bathroom

Losing your mind in the mirror

Like you have to

Dearest Pansy,

You will absolutely not believe me or possibly even lose your mind if I tell you that I met Harry and Andromeda Potter in the Leaky Cauldron. Now, I know what you're going to ask, 'Why were you in the Leaky Cauldron in the first place?' well, remember I told you that my cousin Eleanor was coming from Paris for a few weeks? Well, and she wanted to visit Diagon Alley, and it aligned with our plans to buy my school supplies as well, so we stayed in the Leaky Cauldron for a couple of weeks. Now, I know what you're going to ask again. 'Was it really the Potters you met?' and in your most doting (please note the sarcasm) voice, 'You can be a bit gullible Daph, are you sure that it was them?' and yes, it was indeed them. I saw their scars and everything. They were living with their muggle relatives in London, and they're so nice and so sweet and humble! Oh, I cannot wait for the day you get to meet them too!

I have not told this to anyone, not even Draco or Teddy (I love how annoyed he gets when we call him Teddy) so you better not spill the tea, understood?

Onto the part where I was talking about the Twins. It's so strange to refer to them this way, they're our yearmates, and who knows, might as well be our housemates and friends. I'm not sure about Harry, but Andromeda does seem like she'll fit right in with us snakes (I'm worried about myself if I'm being honest, I don't want to be in a different house than you lot, and if I were to go to a different house, how should I be sure that my housemates would like me?). Besides, they could also go in Ravenclaw. Andromeda practically buries herself in a textbook at any chance she gets, so does Harry, but he's a little more talkative than Andromeda. She helped me learn the levitation charm!

Also, did you know that Leaky Cauldron masks the Trace of the ministry? If we were to go to the pub, we would be able to use magic without a ministry official snapping our wand or whatever it is they do. (Andromeda told me that!)

They're really very sweet, like a duet of lost puppies, if they were any smaller I'd keep them in my pocket. It is also so atrocious how tiny they are! Like, Harry is nearly my height, he would be about inches shorter than Draco, but Andromeda? She is even smaller than Tori! If you were to place her and my sister together, you'd doubt that she was a first year. Her hair is so long, though, it looks really pretty on her! Harry has really unruly hair, which Draco would try to smoothen with hair gel, I'm sure.

Also, please pass this on to Draco that his slicked back hairstyle is giving, 'I'm the pretentious prat people pray to avoid' (say that ten times really fast) and I do not like it very much.

He wrote me a letter a couple of weeks back of when he was touring Egypt, and sent me lots of pictures. By Merlin, he's such a show-off. I told him to get me the best chocolates from there or I would not compliment any of his pictures. He agreed that I'll be getting them the moment we get to Hogwarts.

Speaking of Hogwarts, I'M SO EXCITED!!! But I'm also worried about what if I'm not in Slytherin. Mama and Papa said that it's fine whichever house I'm in, but I want to continue our streak of being in Slytherin, so I'm a little nervous, I'll admit.

Also, I thought I should let you know, I have mentally adopted both Harry and Andromeda in our Coven, and no I will not hear any excuses or backing out now. No take-backsies. But like, let's be honest. We can be their friends, you know? None of our families were affiliated to You-Know-Who, and now he's gone so we don't have to worry about him anymore. We could go on to be normal people with normal friends, and I don't think Harry or Andromeda like the attention either. Let me know what you think!
