Everything was awkward between firey and leafy after bfdia. Leafy just wanted him to acknowledge her, whilst firey was doing everything in his power to ignore her. Finally, whilst the lava emerged from the scorching ground, leafy stood hers.
"Firey! There's nowhere to go. Please! Just listen to me!"
Firey did his best to ignore leafy, pretending she wasn't standing three feet away on a floating hunk of metal, drifting through the hot grass.
"FIREY! please.." tears started to well in her eyes, thinking this might finally be the end. Firey was torn. He wanted to protect leafy, but couldn't stand her looking like that.
He sighed and turned her way.
"..what." he said, fire flowing from his eyes.
"W-why.." Leafy asked, heartbroken.
Firey grabbed her, holding her above the lava and walked to the hill through the lava. He got to the hill and stood up, and sat her down, with a solemn look in his eyes.
"Fine." He said reluctantly, "now that four and x are over there, and so are the other contestants- Fine."
