"I'm sorry Hun, we just have this bet going." Dorothy admitted. Alex looked caught off guard and covered his mouth in an attempt to hide his smile.

"I thought we weren't going to tell her." Alex half whispered, obviously trying to get you to ask them what it was about. He was not a great actor.

"A bet about me?" You knowingly took the bait.

"We have a bet to see who you're crushing on. I think its Bumblebee. I mean you guys talk all the time when he's not training, and he seems to enjoy your company too." Alex said with his hands cupping his head. Before you could say anything, Dorothy continued.

"And I think you have a crush on Optimus. I mean you are always looking at him when he and Megs come over. I think it's obvious." You audibly gawked at this.

"Um neither! I don't like either of them...like that! And I am not looking at Optimus when he comes over. I'm looking at-" You slapped your hand over your mouth and turned your blushing face to your menu again. You fell for their trap. They already knew who you were really looking at.

"Who are you looking at...No. It couldn't be..." Dorothy motioned for you to finish your sentence.

"I'm looking at my menu. Should I get the "Mikes Breakfast Special" or the "Out Fishing Burger"?" Dorothy lowered the menu that covered your face and gave you a soft smile.

"Just admit it sweetheart. I bet you'll feel better if you do." She was using her mom voice on you like you were a child that had stolen the last cookie. You looked up to the ceiling and sighed.

"Fine." You muttered after.

"What was that?" Alex intentionally poked at your buttons.

"I might have a teeny tiny itty bitty small, miniscule crush on...Megatron." You squeaked out smaller than a mouse.

The couple just looked at each other and burst into a pile of giggles. You knew it was a ridiculous crush but to point it out made you feel small and dumb.

"I'm just so happy for him." Dorothy finally composed herself and looked at you.

"He doesn't get as much love as he should. He did help save the world too you know..." She picked up her menu and continued to look at it.

"You don't think it's weird?" You finally muttered out. You thought they snapped their necks, they looked at you so fast. They practically jumped over each other when it dawned on them that you thought they were making fun of you for your feelings.

"No! We don't think it's weird. I mean not weirder than aliens being on earth. We think it's adorable." Alex said.

"Megatron is always worried that he's too scary to stay here so it will be nice for him to hear." Dorothy patted your hand.

"Wait you can't tell him. I-I severely doubt he really would want to know I have...feelings for him." You choked on your words. Both of them looked confused.

"I know he doesn't like me. I mean, every time he looks at me, he practically glares at me! I don't know if I said something to him but please! You can't tell him!" Your mind was racing at the thought of having to look the dumb gray mech in his stupid beautiful eyes after he knew your truth. You had worked for weeks trying to shove the stupid schoolgirl crush you had on him down into the deepest darkest pit of your heart and you didn't want all of that hard work to go to waste!

"Well, what if he likes you back?" Alex asked you.

"Okay. One; yeah right, and two; funny joke." You said, deadpan. Dorothy rolled her eyes at your negativity, with a smile on her face.
