Start from the beginning

Jaune: Whoa, this is incredible!

Hermes: Good luck, Jaune, Remember, just follow the path, and you'll reach Hephaestus.

With a nod, Jaune took off, the Talaria carrying him swiftly through the air. The landscape below blurred as he soared towards the volcano. Despite his initial doubts, he felt a thrill of excitement. This was his chance to prove himself.

When Jaune finally arrived at the volcano, he hovered at its edge, feeling the heat radiate from the molten lava below. He carefully landed and looked around, trying to find a way to enter the forge of Hephaestus.

Jaune: This place is crazy, Hermes must be nuts to send me here.

As he ventured closer to the heart of the volcano, he saw a massive stone door embedded in the rock.

Jaune: huh... a stone door... kinda expected.

With a deep breath, he knocked, and the door slowly creaked open, revealing a forge filled with the glow of molten metal and the sound of hammering.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Jaune: Hello?! Is anyone here?

???: (loud and echoing might) WHO DARES ENTERS MY FORGE?!

Jaune: umm... i'm here with a delivery, Hermes Sent me!

Hephaestus, a burly god with a strong build and soot-covered skin, but he was missing his arm was now replaced by a metallic prosthetic arm. He looked up from his work. His eyes, like embers, locked onto Jaune.

Hephaestus: (kindly) What brings you here, mortal?

Jaune held up the package.

Jaune: Hermes sent me. He said you needed this delivered.

Hephaestus grunted and took the package, examining it with interest.

Hephaestus: Ah, good. Thank you. Tell Hermes I appreciate it.

Jaune nodded and turned to leave, but Hephaestus called after him.

Hephaestus: And you must be Jaune, welcome to the world of the gods. You've taken your first step on a path few mortals tread. Oh and i'll tell Hermes to pay for your services very handsomely.

Jaune: thank you!

As Jaune stepped back into the open air, the Talaria lifted him once more, carrying him back to Hermes' abode. His heart raced with excitement and a newfound sense of purpose. He had completed his first quest, and though it was just a simple delivery, it marked the beginning of his journey to become a true hero, worthy of the gods.

When he landed back in Hermes' hall, the Messenger God greeted him with a smile.

Hermes: Well done, Jaune. You did that in less than 5 seconds... and don't worry about the payment, i'll pay as soon as possible.

Jaune then removed his Talaria and gave it to Hermes.

Jaune: here... you need these back.

Hermes then rejected and looked at Jaune.

Hermes: actually you can have them... think of it as a bonus reward for helping me.

Jaune couldn't believe himself. A God gave him a par of legendary shoes that can be considered a divine tool.

Reward

"Talaria" the boots of Hermes.

These shoes will give you godly speed.

* You can equip them in your system.

Jaune's system gave him the reward and was overjoyed.

Jaune grinned, feeling a spark of hope ignite within him.

Jaune: Thank you, Hermes. I won't let you down.

With his first quest completed, Jaune returned to his apartment, eager to see what other challenges the GOD System had in store for him. His path to godhood had just begun, and he was ready to face whatever lay ahead.

Jaune's Apartment

He returned to his apartment after he had done his first quest, and to celebrate it he bought himself a box of pizza to celebrate it.

But then as he was about to eat his pizza, a soft chime rang.

Jaune looked at the opened screen and saw it was his reward.

Reward

Divinity points: 200 points

Congratulations on gaining divinity points, Divinity points can increase your chances of a higher reputation and gain higher rank of godhood.

Jaune was surprised to see an additional hundred to his divinity points. But then a note was added to the reward.

Note

Hey! Lord Hermes here, the additional hundred is the bonus on how you delivered. My brother Hephaestus wanted to give to you for delivering his package earlier than he expected.

Jaune was proud of himself and now he can indulge himself in his own reward; Pizza. For his first job was a complete success.
