"Your not from this planet are you?" The fox hybrid asked softly
"Your new here arnt you?" the man retorted
"Sorry, just trying to make conversation... how about a drink on me?"
"... fine, Gin on the rocks none of that fancy ice either" he muttered...

"Hey Yuki do you think you could cover my shift tonight? My dads had a accident" A women voice came Over the phone as Yuki sat on the sofa of his apartment staring at the wall like it should have a TV on it but did not.
Swallowing the mouthful of cereal he had he began to speak "isn't that a single shift? didnt boss say he wanted me to work with the other bartenders for a little while longer before giving me the single shifts?" He asked lightly before stuffing his mouth with another spoon of crunchy Berry o's which were a sort of berry cereal that had become very popular due to its ability to turn the milk purple and taste like a berry dessert.
"Its a Thursday night, it will be pretty slow y'all have the boss there to watch over you incase anyone orders anything weird! please could you do this for me? I can clear it with him if you agree" She begged pleading with the new staff member to take her shift
Yuki turned his head to the window looking out onto the city that glowed throughout the night, flying cars passing by not far from his window. The neon signs littering buildings, the way the glass reflected the cities image with roads reaching into the skies he couldn't help but let out a sigh.
"Sure I guess... if the boss is okay with me working then I could use the money" Yuki let out
"Your a life saver! thanks baby girl~" The girl on the phone chirped with joy
It wasnt to long before Yuki had to begin leaving his apartment in the city to get to his new job he had begun, his tail began swaying softy behind him well he was wrapped up in a pair of frayed ripped jeans a large jacket that seemed to have many different unnecessary straps with neon purple lines on them it had a lining on the inside of a purple fabric and was oversized almost consuming his small statue. The city was cold during the night the world was filled with fog due the low temperatures it would get to, most of the clothing worn here at night and heat packs inside especially for people who went accustom to this planets temps.
The world here was different from his home world where it was a different type of cutlture less cyberesk if you could say so, they were very well modernised but it was intertwined with the nature and they believed that a city should incorporate the the natural landscape rather than change it.
It was hard for him, he moved to this new city only a mere few months ago for the opptinuity of a new life but it wasnt as easy as he had thought leaving everything he knew behind was scary for someone who had never really traveled farther than his own world.
Now he was living in the big city on another planet for the first time sitting fifty feet of the ground in a skyber which would diliver him to his work place to begin the first chapter of his life. Maybe deep down he was scared of this being alone he didnt live alone but the people he was living with had there own lives to live meaning he didnt want to bother them all the time and had begun secluding himself to his room.
"Heading out for a drink on a Thursday? you young people I remember when I was young and would drink every other day" The Skyber chuckled looking into the mirror of his Skycar as they flew with the traffic roads that were above the ground cars that would use the roads below.
"ha... yeah I guess" Yuki smiled lightly back it was a little awkward for him to talk to the driver he ordered as he did have headphones on but being polite he took them off to try and have a conversation.
"Your from Dandero if im not mistaken?" The driver ased
"Yeah, I moved here a few months ago"
"We dont see a lot of your type around here, the colds usually a little bit to much for them even with if you get the temperature regulator chips" The drive mentioned
The temperature regulator chips, many of the inhabitants of this planet it received chips if they wernt built for cold climates that would make there internal body temperatures much lower able to handle the cold. Even on days in the city that looked like a relatively good day with sunshine which was pretty much once every few months it would still be much lower than a normal temperature reaching lows of -65C and highs of only a bare - 50C
The city should be covered in snow most of the year but somehow the temperature in the core of the earth allows the building and ground to maintain a relatively normal appearance even when it did snow it wouldn't settle well.
"oh yeah... Most people dandero like the warmth" Yuki shrugged quietly
"What brought you here in the first place? such a cold planet after all?"
"Just opptinuity I guess, Big city really popular through out the cosmos? Im also guessing you noticed the ears and tail but part snow fox these temperatures are pretty good for my kind"
unlike many cultures his world was similar to the primitive planet of earth, They had many different cultures and types of people Sub cultures there were often Felines, Canines, Aquatic, Reptilian types on his planet with each living in there own area depending on there environment Being from the area on his planet that was colder climates for his kind which was Arctic the cold best fitted him.
When earth was discovered and brought into the Coalition of the cosmos there planet was on the brink of extinction, The coalition was able to save there planet with the technology they had it wasnt uncommon now to find humans living among other races especially on his planet since it did resemble a much larger but more extreme and unforgiving earth.
"Oh i see! Ive read about your kind along time ago, The humans use the word Arctic sub culture? does that mean you dont use a regulator?" he asked out of curiosity
Yuki shook his head, regulators wouldn't be affective on him as he could already withstand the cold since his body was made for the colder climate but from pure sight you couldn't tell because of his pale yet smooth skin and sometimes lac of clothing he looked like he would freeze in place if he walked outside.
"Sounds like you hit the jack pot, you look so fragile as if this world would break you but I guess that's just what your kind thrive as being unpredictable" the Cab driver shrugged it off "My Regulator always is bugging out ever since that new update sometime im burning up and other im freezing my balls off" He muttered the last part before pulling up to the entrance in to the rooftop bar that looked quiet cozy.
"Well were here, it was nice talking to you enjoy your drink" The cab driver spoke
"Thank you" Yuki smiled before bowing slightly and opening the door stepping onto the rooftop entrance way into the bar.
