Draw a straight line down from the chest, then a curved one for the back, and connect them with another curved line (this line is a border between the tail and the rest of the body, so you don't want to erase it later)

Draw a curved line (a kind of half-circle) from the back Be careful to follow the curvature of the back at first, so the back doesn't look broken

(Sorry for the bad visibility here :( ) Draw another line to finish the tail Be careful to follow the curvature of the stomach first (like the back, so it doesn't appear broken) If you look at the reference, you can see that the tail gets a bit thicker before it thins out again, so be careful not to follow the back line of the tail too soon
