Review #13: I can't remember by mishidt
Review made by axelle_grace14
1 Title:
• Relevance to the plot: 10/10
• Creativity: 7/10
• Intrigue: 7.5/10
I believe that the title of your story is incredibly relevant to the plot. However, it isn't very original because there are hundreds of stories registered under the same title.
2 Dialogue:
• Authenticity: 10/10
• Capacity to contribute to the plot: 9/10
• Capacity to attribute personality: 8/10
I believe that the dialogue played a primordial role in the progress of the plot. Each sentence appeared to be intentionally written to reflect the character's personality and to add new details to the plot. In conclusion, the dialogue added a lot of complexity to the story and was a great and efficient way to transmit information to the reader.
3 Main protagonist:
• Complexity of the character: 8.5/10
• Development: 7/10
• Uniqueness: 8/10
• Memorable traits: 7/10
• Description: 7/10
I believe that telling Danielle's story through her best friend, Gwen, was an excellent idea. I consider Danielle and Gwen as the two main characters because they appear to be equally important to the progressive of the story.
I enjoyed how you handled sensitive topics such as body image issues and suicidal thoughts with such respect and care. I think that creating characters that are affected by such issues is a great way to spread awareness about them. I really hope to see more about Danielle's struggle with accepting her body further in the story. I think that it adds depth to her character and that it might make her more relatable to readers which will engage them even more.
4 Plot:
• Capacity to foreshadow: 8/10
• Surprise factor: 7/10
• Engagement of the reader: 8/10
• Creativity: 7/10
I think that the pace of your story is perfect. It is slow enough for readers to get attached to each character and get to know all of them without being too long and boring. You've done an excellent job when it comes to planning the plot of your story. Congrats my dear!
5 Cover:
• Appeal: 9/10
• Correlation with the plot: 7/10
• Memorability: 8/10
I think that your cover is really pretty. I don't know if it has a direct link to your plot but nonetheless it is amazing!
Total: 144/180 -> 80%
