Divu walked down the busy street, lost in thought. She had been staying with Rhea and Vijay for days, trying to uncover more about Project Elysium.
But today, she felt it. A prickling sensation on the back of her neck. Someone was following her.
She quickened her pace, weaving through the crowds. But the feeling persisted.
Suddenly, she saw him. A tall, imposing figure lurking across the street.
Divu's heart skipped a beat. Who was he? And why was he watching her?
_Divu's POV:_
I stopped dead in my tracks, my eyes locked on the figure. He didn't flinch, didn't try to hide. He just kept watching me.
My heart pounding, I crossed the street, approaching him. "Who are you?" I demanded.
The figure stepped forward, revealing a chiseled face with piercing blue eyes. "My name is Elijah," he said, his voice low and gravelly. "And you, Divu, are in grave danger."
I narrowed my eyes. "What do you know about me?"
Elijah glanced around cautiously before focusing on me again. "I know about Project Elysium. And I know you're not safe with Rhea and Vijay."
My mind raced. How did he know about the project? And why was he warning me away from my allies?
_Elijah's POV:_
I could see the doubt in Divu's eyes. She didn't know who to trust. "Rhea and Vijay are using you," I said, my voice firm. "They're not what they seem."
Divu's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about?"
I took a deep breath. "Rhea is working with Akash. She's been feeding him information about you, about Project Elysium."
Divu's face went white. "No, that's not true."
I pulled out a small device from my pocket. "I have proof. Recordings of Rhea's conversations with Akash. She's been playing both sides all along."
Divu's eyes widened in shock. She felt betrayed.
_Divu's POV:_
I stormed into the safehouse, my heart racing. "Rhea, we need to talk," I said, my voice firm.
Rhea looked up from her phone, a hint of concern on her face. "What's wrong, Divu?"
I took a deep breath. " you're working with Akash. That you're feeding him information about me."
Rhea's expression changed from concern to shock. "Who told you that?"
"Elijah," I replied. "He showed me recordings of your conversations with Akash."
Rhea sighed, rubbing her temples. "Divu, listen to me. I can explain—"
But I cut her off. "And why did Elijah mention Vijay's name? What does he have to do with this?"
Rhea's eyes darted away, and for a moment, I saw a flicker of guilt.
"Vijay... Vijay is not who he seems either," Rhea said hesitantly. "He's been hiding something from you, Divu. Something big."
My mind reeled. What secrets was Vijay keeping?
