Luverne Vernas, 15, stood still in front of a large open gate, amidst a crowd of young adults striding proudly towards their academe.

The young lady was rather short, standing just barely over 150 centimeters. She was slender, but not frail. Her cherry blossom pink hair fluttered about as the wind assails her, her blue eyes resembled turquoises, and they sparkled behind the framed glasses to help her poor sight. She wore the Gheurstrat Academy, her new school's uniform. It was a marvel of tailoring, providing incredible comfort, sturdiness, and fashion. It was a common style of uniform, with a white buttoned and sleeved undershirt with a black blazer with blue accents, with a similarly colored skirt which reach just below the knees. It was the academy's proud uniform, and now, Luverne wore it proudly as well.

《It's finally time...》

She whispered to herself. It had been 15 years since Luverne had reincarnated into this world. She had already forgotten her old name, her old face, her old family. The one thing she could never forget, however, was this world.

"Save and Load: A Timeless Love" is a dating sim game that Luverne's past life played until she died. She had played through hundreds of different playthroughs, made thousands of different choices, experienced each and every possible ending and secret route the game had to offer.

However, there's just one problem she had with the game. That is, although you could romance any of the six capture targets, or even have routes where you conquer two or more at once, there was never any route for Luverne's childhood friend, and her past life's favourite character, Millford Chance.

Luverne had her eyes set on one thing and one thing only: Millford's impossible route. She was blessed with the power to reverse time (load a save state), and she will use it without hesitation to reach the perfect ending with Millford Chance.

According to game knowledge, although Luverne and Millford were childhood friends, they were unfortunately split apart after Luverne was taken in by her step-father. They wouldn't be able to contact each other for eight years until they reunited at the Gheurstrat Academy. Naturally, the same went even for our reincarnated heroine.

The moment she takes a step towards the imposingly large institute in front of her, the game's events will start rolling. Luverne plans to avoid all the capture targets and reunite with Millford first, even if it meant saving and loading first thing.

Unlike with the game where she just had to click a few times, it took a while for Luverne to figure out how to save and load states after reincarnating into the game world. She eventually settled on this: the date, and the exact time down to the second. And then, she'd write down the numbers on a piece of paper for her to load into if needed.

The young lady took a deep breath after confirming her saved state, and boldly took a step towards the new chapter in her life.

The sound of a young nobleman yelling, accompanied by the clattering of a carriage. This only meant one thing: the crown prince and his brother had arrived.

In the original game, the siblings were the inevitable first encounter as Luverne, unaware of her surroundings, was swiftly pulled back by an onlooker so she didn't get run over by the carriage. After which, the second prince, Luverne's fiance, Arnold Bran Gheurstrat would exit the carriage to make sure the young lady was safe, while his older brother, Luke Bran Gheurstrat observed the situation from inside the carriage. Arnold would offer to let Luverne ride with then, which makes the first choice of the game.
