The three of them burst through the doors of the school and scrambled to get the doors shut. This was absolutely terrifying; the alpha looked like he wanted to kill all of them. Scott must've pissed him off. The boys started arguing about how to keep the door latched closed when Stiles noticed the bolt cutters outside on the steps.

With no sign of the alpha, he slipped out the doors as quietly as he could. As he picked them up, he heard Charlotte and Scott yelling for him to get back inside. He glanced in the direction of his Jeep to see the alpha emerging from behind it. Running as fast as he could, he leapt inside the doors and jammed the bolt cutters into the handles, creating a makeshift lock.

They all looked outside to see absolutely nothing there. "Where is it? Where'd it go?" Scott asked, clearly scared. Stiles shined his flashlight through the window, scanning the parking lot. Charlotte stayed quiet, though her guess was that the alpha was looking for another entrance. He was toying with them; he wanted them afraid. Had he wanted to, he could have easily ripped the doors clean off the hinges.

"That won't hold, will it?" Scott asked Stiles.

Stiles just shook his head "Probably not."

They all looked down the moonlit hallway of the school, knowing time was limited. A howl rang out and they took off running into one of the classrooms. Scott wanted to push the teacher's desk against the door and Stiles stopped him. "The door's not gonna keep it out." he reasoned.

"I know" Scott agreed.

"It's your boss." Stiles said, bluntly. "What?" Scott sounded like he couldn't believe this.

"Deaton, the alpha? Your boss." Stiles replied, pointing at Scott.

"No!" Scott counted.

"Yes, murdering psycho werewolf." he countered back.

Scott looked like he was in total disbelief "That can't be".

Stiles couldn't believe how dense Scott was being. "Oh, come on. He disappears, and that thing shows up ten seconds later to toss Derek twenty feet through the air? That's not convenient timing?"

Scott was still not buying it and Charlotte was wondering if she should even bring up Peter. "It's not him!" Scott argued.

"He killed Derek." Stiles pointed out.

"No, Derek's not dead. He can't be dead". Scott pleaded.

"Blood spurted out of his mouth, ok? That doesn't exactly qualify as a minor injury. He's dead, and we're next" Stiles stated.

"Ok, just...what do we do?" Scott said, finally accepting the gravity of the situation.

"We get to my Jeep, we get out of here, you seriously think about quitting your job, good?" Stiles explained, through in his usual sarcasm. Charlotte almost laughed but now was not the time.

Scott ran to the window, trying to open it. Stiles grabbed his arm "No, they don't open. The school's climate controlled."

"Then we break it" Scott said offering another solution.

"Which will make a lot of noise" Stiles pointed out. Scott was surveying the parking, trying to gauge how far away it was "Then we run fast.....really fast".

Scott did a double take at the jeep "Stiles, what's wrong with the hood of your jeep?" he asked, clearly concerned.

"What do you mean? Nothing's wrong" Stiles said.

"It's bent" Scott told him.

"Like, dented?" Stiles asked, trying to get a closer look.

"No, I meant bent." Scott said more forcefully.
