The flight was long. After mulling over the fact- that she had to go to Dallas and risk her life to save a vampire that she barely knew. However, Eric made it clear that her services were well-paid for in advance. Her mind- sinking- into all of the possibilities the money could help to do. For the first thing that she would do is hire men to build her a new driveway; even picturing it was enough to have Sookie agree to the dangerous path ahead.

Twirling the wine glass that was complimentary, of course, in her hand. Taking a swig of the flavor before she quit all together. Not needing to see lights her first visit out of the Louisiana state, the voice above in the tiny speakers announced that they would be arriving soon. Quickly, following the instructions to buckle up for the landing- had she mentioned she hated flying?

A couple moments passed- and Sookie had touched ground. It didn't take her a whole lot of time- seeing as how Eric had booked her a private flight. A black limo was awaiting for her- but her telepathy wasn't a thing that she could just turn off. The driver stood beside the car- for within his mind was nothing but white noise. He had been glamoured by a vampire no less- his side was folded- leaning against the limo almost as if he was concealing something. Something he didn't want Sookie to see. Sookie- made a move- and the driver did as well. Now revealing just what exactly he was concealing on his side.

Sookie screamed- and suddenly two vampires leapt out of the Anubis-Air coffins and came to my rescue. Bill, and Eric were by my side in an instant - going as far as have their bodies as my shields. Bill rushed up to the driver disarming him before he could make the shot to end my life.

The following moments had Bill, Eric, and I in the limo. With Bill driving- much to his distaste- and with Eric trying his best to get information out of the driver. The driver's mind was too gone, probably from all the years his mind had to be glamoured. Working for vampires- he would have to have seen many things that could get certain vampires into trouble. Sookie had looked upon Eric- how intense the art of glamouring was- for she couldn't get glamoured.

As Bill turned a corner and parked outside the hotel we were staying. As Bill parked- that alerted me to the last second of life the former driver had. For Eric had snapped the driver's neck in-front of me.

While I wallowed in displeasure against Eric's unfortunate actions- Bill had already checked us in- much to my relief. Thinking that I could somehow possibly be free from danger for a day was beyond me. Bill wound his arm around my waist- a bit forcefully- to which Sookie didn't reply. Forcing it back- and playing it as some sort of worried state that Bill had over her.

Eric was across the hall from her and Bill- she somehow felt relieved. If Bill's little actions were forceful or not- Sookie was having her doubts about her supposed boyfriend. No matter- how little her doubts were- she felt relieved for a much older vampire was just a word away.
