Science came around, and today was the last day to choose partners. In the next two weeks, we would have class time to work on our project. I watched Kyle walk back to the lab that I already claimed for us. He just got done telling the teacher that we would be partners.

"So are we official?" I asked in a joking manner.

"We are," he laughed.

"So what do you think we should do for a project?" I asked.

"Life science?" he purposed.

I wrinkled my nose, "I was hoping for more of a behavior type experiment."

"You mean like human behavior?" he questioned.

"Exactly," I nodded.

"Dude, that's awesome. I didn't think you would've been in that kind of stuff," he commented.

"Yeah, its my favorite actually," I muttered, looking down, trying to hide my blush.

"So, what did you have in mind?" he asked.

"Well, I was thinking, since it was only two weeks, that we, maybe, test the way people react to the food due to the packaging," I suggested.

"Okay, what do you mean by that?" he questioned.

"Well, say we test the first grade class. Their class is split into two, right?" I asked.

"Yeah, there is two teachers for that grade, so they always slit the classes up," Kyle answered.

"Okay, so let's say we went to the elementary school and gave them snacks, but we give them the snacks in different bags. One set of bags will be just a plain brown paper bag, but the others will be all decorated and fun looking. Then, we put, like, seven carrots in the bag and give them, maybe, ten minuets to eat it. After that, we collect the bags and count the amount of carrots they ate," I explained.

"That sound perfect, so, we would have to get the supplies?" he said in a questioning manner.

"Yeah, but I can just pick them up my-"

"We will get supplies tonight. Since it's Friday, practice gets over early. I'll shower and pick you up right after I'm done. We can get supper, too. How about Cassa Bonita? I can drive, and I'll pay," he interrupted.

My face warmed up, "W-what? No, that's okay, I can just-"

"This is our project, right?" he asked.

I nodded.

"And, you told Wendy you wouldn't do the project with her so you wouldn't have to do all the work, correct?" he continued to question.

I nodded, again.

"Then, let me help you with OUR PROJECT," he laughed.

I smiled, "Fine, but I'm paying for the supplies."

He smiled back, "Deal."
