Gaon walked to the living room so he can prepare the breakfast for her.


When Yona turned 5 months old he decided to move from his parents old complex. He finally bought a good flat in a peaceful neighborhood. The Flat contains 3 bedroom and 2 baths, small garage for normal size family car. And a laundry basement with storage, and a outside patio on the second floor with dining room (3rd guest room). His patio was beautifully decorated with plants.
His life slowly became normal. After Elijah and Yohan left for the Switzerland he do went to visit the empty mansion a few times for the very 1 year at least.


It was empty. Just like him.

After Yona's birth, his life change for good. He finally had someone which belong to him. Someone who would never leave him. If Gaon talk about the delivery, it was fucking painful and hard to cover especially in middle of legal trials.

After Yohan left the Live Trial Court, Gaon assisted JinJoo to take over the lead, while he was handling the evidence and confession department. Yohan handover the company to Gaon's with the clause that till Yohan came back to Korea, Gaon would be the sole inheritor of the company or until Elijah decided to run it. Gaon was not agree on it first but Elijah persuade him to say yes. He stays in contact with Elijah off and on. Especially around holidays they only did voice call. But in those 5 years Yohan never ever contact him.


At first it was a crushing moment for Gaon, but he came to understanding that one way or another, their paths were different. At least in this life.

With time passing by, he started thinking less and less of the family he once had. It was for better after all. Not like he ever fit in with them.

'' Papa how do I look? '' Gaon turned her head and looked at Yona who wore her cute school uniform. She was turning 6 years in 8 months. Gaon like a dotting dad, He simply took his phone out and capture beautiful pictures of her and few with her hugging him.

'maybe I should try creating Instagram '

'' You look beautiful my princess. Super ready for the day. I wish papa had the energy like you.'' He mumbled before lifting her up in his arm and smooching her cheeks, Playfully spins her a bit in air and than helped her to settle on the chair.


'' you are prewety too papa'' Yona giggled as wait for her toast. After they done eating, Gaon drove her to her school.

She was finally promoted from the nursery class to 1st stander.

When Gaon arrived at his office (more like at Yohan's company), new members in his staff bow towards him. He kindly greets them as he walked inside the office. Each time he opened those big door it always give a slight hint of hope to see Yohan behind them but each time he face the disappointment. He placed his laptop bag on the desk and walked to the window. Stared over the big screen advertising the immigrant project, which helped new comers in Korea to learn Korean language.




He turned his head towards the door when he noticed a small knock and Saw Jin Joo who she walked towards him after closing the door behind her.


'' Oh yeah, you arrived a bit early today '' Gaon asked as his lips turn into a small smile, without saying anything Jin Joo warped her arms around Gaon's neck and leaned closer to whispered in his ear .


''Apparently we have a drone trouble '' When she moved her head back a bit and Gaon looked at him with surprise, But soon his expression turn softer. After Yona's birth, Gaon requested Jin Joo to play the role of his fiancé. To prevent Gaon image from being messed up nation wide. it was Jin Joo who came up with that cover. If Gaon wanted he could have asked Soo Yoon for that, but Gaon knew her feelings towards him and asking her to do that would be painful for her at the end. Even though to the people in office Yona was introduce as his adopted child but Jin Joo and Soo Yoon were the only people who knew that Yona was his Biological child.


'' ah. Newbies are curious.'' Gaon whispered in response, completely understanding Jin Joo's point of view. He Allowed his hand to rest against Jin Joo's waist and pulled her a bit close.


Jin Joo chuckled and leaned her lips closer to his jaw and pretend to place a kiss over it, she whispered.


'' Of course, They are always curious if our Relationship is true or not, even though its fake. We can't risk people coming after you and Yona. You are the main person everyone keeping eye on these days, We win so many trials, so they are trying to find anything which could exploit the rumors and bring your image down.'' She spoke and quickly steal a small kiss from the corner of his lips


'' I appreciated '' Gaon replied and she slowly break the embrace and lean her back against the desk beside Gaon. Gaon was still not used to of Jin Joo being super close to kiss him like that, in fact even someone kiss him or not, it never gave him any feeling of likeness or dislike-ness.


'' And I am perfectly fine with it, I like kisses, And kissing you is like kissing a small baby who just born and I like females romantically. Especially your police friend '' She pointed and Gaon chuckled and slid his hands in his pocket.


'' Yeah it was surprising when you told me the first time. By the way, Soo Yoon would be coming back next year after her abroad assignment . She finally finished her course. '' Gaon explained,

Soo Yoon left Korea 3 years due to an undercover mission, but he and Soo Yoon stay in contact through the letters and sometimes calls in her free time.


'' Yeah. I am very happy for her. She was so excited for the assignment when it was given to her'' Jin Joo said and she slid her phone out opening her apps


'' did you finally think of creating the Instagram? I told you lot of people use it. So instead of us faking all the time in media we can just upload our gathering and some moments. It would calm the reports coming after you'' Jin Joo said and she grabbed Gaon's phone and created the name


''Only4_YN as in Yona because you are dotting a father '' she smirked and Gaon could not help but to tilt his head, looked down over the phone and the account she was creating for him .


'' There...! Now for the picture! '' Jin Joo Pulled Gaon towards him, lifted the phone upwards to take a selfie of them.

'' Smile'' She whispered before pressing her lips against his cheek softly and click to take the picture.


'' Best Fiancé of the world '' Jin Joo spoke the status aloud as she typed it and then posted it online, also followed Gaon's account in her friend list.


'' Best Fiancé? really?'' Gaon asked raising his brow with suspiciousness. Even Though he knew Jin Joo was jolly and friendly type. But he also knew who ever gonna marry her, would be very lucky young lady.




'' Ah why not! I am sparkly, Slim. Long Hair, and cute looking'' She simply said '' And So not your type'' She than laugh before patting his back '' Tell Yona I will come and see her this weekend .'' She waved before making her way out from the office while humming a song.


Gaon stared her leaving and he chuckled.. He looked at Jin Joo's and his picture together

'' Thank you for covering my mess always.''


When he placed the phone on the table, the screen lit up. His lips curved into a smile it was the message from Elijah.





⋆.'Elijah: ~ Guess what who finally finished her graduation! Yes its me. Anyhow, news for you. I am finally coming to Korea, and I can finally walk. With cane of course.
Come receive us from the airport this Friday!'⋆.


Gaon looked at the word 'us'. Is she coming back with Yohan? He stared the text for a moment, before shaking his head to keep himself out from the thoughts.

It was strange getting a message from Elijah after a year. Last time Gaon talk with her was a year ago on Christmas. But kind of lost contact with Elijah after that.

Who later texted him 2 weeks ago and informed him that she lost her phone at the center and because she was in middle of treatment, she was not able to go and get the new phone and she don't wanted Yohan to go and get the phone for her, especially the model she don't like.
