Note about "Stalking Emily": It takes place in the FireNight realm about twenty years after "The Stalker" starring Cameron and Asher's daughter, Emily Wolfe, who is 19 during the story.
If you didn't like "The Stalker" then you might not like this book because Kaden is very sadistic.
The love interest is Kaden Spade who is a very dangerous man who is obsessed with her for years, and he's been visiting her every night and stalking her for ages without her knowing.
Asher is very protective over things that are his, including his daughter, but Kaden does not fear him because he can easily evade him. But even if he did fear Asher, he wouldn't stop because his obsession with Emily is absolute.
This novel also includes a mystery that Emily is trying to solve involving her aunt's death, all while trying to evade her stalker... and halloween is on the horizon, making her situation even more dangerous.

This novel is a dark romance in a college setting, takes placing during halloween times, including dark themes (including kidnapping, psychotic book men, stalking, smut) similar to other booktok novels.
