I nod my head and walk back into the bathroom to flat iron my hair.

I take a seat and text Chelsea.
Me: Where are you?
Chelsea: can't make it I'm busy.
I shut my phone off and pay attention to dinner.
"I have a toast to make", Uncle Sean says standing.
We all look as a man walks in with a huge box.
"I want to congratulate Breanna, on her 35th Platinum Record".
My eyes go wide as I see the plaque.
I jump up and down in excitement.
They hand me the box containing the plaque.
"And there's a little Check from me and Kim", Cassie says kissing my cheek.
I can help but smile big as everyone claps.
Hakeem and Jamal congratulates me.
Luscious and Cookie didn't show.
Just my brother nd Anika.
Roc and the crew was here too.
To bad Chelsea and Jacob didn't come.
I'll just have to enjoy my night.

"Thanks for coming ", I yell from my car window.
I drive off heading to my home.
When I arrive I hear Jacob upstairs on the phone.
"I cant believe this, what am I gonna do".
I scrunch my eyebrows.
"Hey baby...", I say.
He instantly hangs up.
"Hey how was your night?", he says kissing my lips.
"Great , but are you OK?".
He puts on a smile.
"Yeah, don't worry about me".
He's lying.
"So where did you go", I say removing my earrings.
"I just went down to empire for a little bit".
I nod my head and hop into bed still in my dress.
I lay down in close my eyes when I hear the bed rise.
Not to long after I hear the door open and close.
