*Following the ending of Chapter 39 of Some Random High School Love Story*
From the park everybody would be taking separate paths on their way home, so they would take some time to say their goodbyes to each other. There was a moment where all the boys huddled together as they dapped each other up.
"Alright, Angel, I'll catch you sooner than later hopefully," Teo says as the former basketball rivals hug each other goodbye.
"For sure, it's not like all of us will stop hanging out now that school's out, right?" Angel asks not only Teo but to the rest of the guys.
"Oh hell nah it ain't!" Ramon excitedly claimed, "It's summertime, it is only the beginning!"
"Hmph, you're damn right, we'll definitely see each other sooner than later, just depends who got an idea first in the group chat," Frankie explained.
"Shiit, we don't do much together, do we?" Ramon asked suddenly.
"What?!?" Teo said, surprised, "Boba Mondays and Fridays? We raid each others' houses, besides Angel's? We just saw fireworks? If anything, we see each other too often."
"Yeah, but I mean... just us. Us boys," Ramon reiterated, "The girls always have their own chitty chats outside of school more often than us possibly hanging out since this guy *points at Teo* became Mr Varsity. How have we went the whole year, even before Angel joining us, without having our own shit to do or our own secrets to talk about? It just doesn't feel right, we're supposed to be like brothers but I personally feel like we're not..."
"Ramon, if you want to do something with just us guys, just say that. You've made your point the first two sentences you know?" Frankie said not trying to hear an epic monologue speech this late at night.
"I'm down, it's about time I bond more with you guys specifically, and as Ramon said, finally find some brothers in my new family," Angel tried saying without sounding too sentimental.
"Angel!" Pauline would call out outta nowhere, "You better come get your girl before we take her from you!" She'd follow up, slightly annoyed the boys are taking so long. Angel and Marcie looked at each other and chuckled it off.
"I'm lowkey scared of her..." Ramon timidly said in a quieter tone.
"To ask what's wrong, or to ask her ou—" Frankie could not finish that jokingly question without Ramon trying to suffocate him for being so loud, and the fact the other two boys don't know.
"Alright, I'll walk Marcie home before my mom gets me. Later boys!" Angel would say, dapping up Teo and bowing out of whatever the hell is happening on the ground.
"Bye! Love you gals!" Marcie would wave as Zuli and Pauline would take their routes home, "And you, can you explain why Ramon and Frankie are wrestling?" She asked directing her attention to Angel.
"Uh... whatever the hell Ramon didn't want to tell Frankie," Angel said trying not to look into it, "...This is entertaining huh?"
"Heh, I guess so. Does this still happen when us girls are not around?"
Angel took a hard look at Teo finally deciding to get in the middle and break up this very mild scuffle. With Ramon constantly yelling something along the lines of, "Don't you finish that question!" and Frankie doing everything to escape. He naturally let out a small grin as he would eventually hold Marcie's hand and say,
"I guess I'll find out. I'm looking forward to this summer."
