Just as he was about to fall asleep, he suddenly felt a cold sensation cross his body, making him flinch. His involuntary movement had awakened the two kittens on his lap, who were now looking at him with concern, but Cale hadn't noticed a thing.
"Cale-nya!" They called and stroked Cale's arms, but there was no reaction. Worried, they finally went to find Choi Han and Raon, who immediately came to see the redhead.
"What's the matter?" Choi Han asked.
"He shook. We thought he was cold and we wanted to ask him, but he didn't react."
Choi Han frowned at that, he tried too. "Cale-nim!" He called while placing a hand on Cale's shoulder.
The redhead flinched even harder at his touch, but now he seemed present.
"... Yes?"
"Are you alright? You are cold?"
"Eh? No, it's fine."
You could hear a lot of moaning from almost everyone in the room. Cale being unaware of his health and also completely oblivious to other people's concerns about him was not unusual, quite the opposite. It ends up making them frustrated
The subject of their concern obviously did not understand their reaction, thinking they were exaggerating and that it was nothing serious.
Alberu looked at Cale reflexively. He was sure he was thinking like an idiot. Again, the strange urge to hit his sworn brother overwhelmed him. 'And that's just the beginning...'
"Human! You're trembling, stop lying! I'm going to call Grandpa Lemonade to come!"
"Well, little kid, you should never listen to that unlucky bastard when it comes to his health." Eruhaben praised Raon who beamed with joy at this he purposely ignored the "little kid" a selective hearing he learned from his tutor.
Cale was about to refute the Old Dragon's words, but Alberu silenced him, giving him something to eat, a biscuit he had conjured. He saved Cale, well, just for the moment.
Cale wanted to stop him and tell him it was okay, but Raon was already gone.
He was already praying for his lazy life that seemed to say goodbye to him, forgetting about the lemon tea waiting for him with Ron, Cale was already crying in his mind.
He was always distracted by food, otherwise he would have cried with his counterpart.
Shortly after, Raon returned with Ron. He had already explained the situation to him on the way.
"Are you not well, Young Master? A little tea to warm you up, I hear you're cold?"
Along with his words, lemon tea appeared before him with a smiling servant. He had no choice but to accept it and start drinking it. Because the longer he waited for a miracle to happen to save him from the lemon, the more Ron smiled.
"Ron, it's not necessary. I'm fine."
"It's not true! Human, you shook, you must be cold. You should go back inside!"
"Raon-nim is right, you should listen to him, Young Master."
Everyone said the same thing. He finally gave in and went back to his room, lying in bed under the covers. The children immediately came and pressed against him.
"I will get you some hot soup in addition to some tea to warm you up, Young Master."
Before leaving, Ron approached him and put a hand on his forehead. He still had to check, in case he was really sick, after all he knew Cale was particularly weak.
