Aariv
It's really good weather to practice, and I am already in my Jersey. I was on my way to the stadium but thanks to her here I am , waiting at the airport and watching memes on my phone. Aradhya, my elder sister, is coming back after her mini vacation.
Staff announce on the mic that the plane is already on the runway, so I will meet my chudail in a minimum of 5 min. But suddenly, I saw something that I will never ever forget in my whole life, those eyes... Even in her mask I can definitely tell that her smile can rule heaven and my heart too!!! Her creamy skin and cheeks with the shade of sky pink melts my heart. A loose strand of her wavy hair flickering on her forehead which is meant to be kissed!! She is looking simply beautiful even in her white top and jeans.
I am about to look away but her eyes set a quick look at me between the people around her. And my heart skipped a beat. Even for a second, my eyes meet the pair of those sparkling eyes and that's enough for me to cancel the whole day plans and only think about her. Now my ability to look away has vanished and all I can do is stare at her until she reaches her car and out of my sight, leaving me in my thoughts.
I can feel my thoughts fading out from present to past, it's the same eyes that I saw years ago, all I could remember is the day I saw her.
Her family went to our village for an unofficial trip of 2 weeks and I can't lose the chance to meet my idol Saurabh Krishnamurthy and his family. I am wearing my favorite t-shirt, which I only wear on special occasions, and jeans with my new pair of shoes. My friends are also ready and waiting for me so we can go to the ground where Saurabh sir is going to play cricket with us. I cannot stand the loss to giveaway this chance.
We reach the ground on time and it is full of villagers. People from near by villages are also here to meet him. We manage to get through crowd and straight to the boundryline. I can't believe my eyes that Mr. Saurabh Krishnamurthy is in front of me!! They are planing the match between him and his son. So they are selecting the team members among the villagers. I guess it took my full month luck to get selected by Arjun, his son, for the match.
That was nice match between father and son. But after our full hardwork and effort I still think it was the greatness of Saurabh sir that we won the match. Also we got a new friend to play cricket with us for the next 2 weeks. I am glad that we played cricket with him everyday after school.
He is such a good bowler and on the other hand I am not a bad batsman though. Which bound us with an invisible thread of friendship. We play, share our things, talk, and walk through the farm together. He tells me about the city of dreams and I help him to learn about village life. We are busy playing when the time flies and 2 weeks felt like 2 days.
It's the last day for arjun in the village and I fear if he leaves without saying the last goodbye to me. I am running to get that last goodbye from my friend whom i may never meet again. The car is already leaving when I reach the place and my heavy breath stuck on the thought of not to reach at time.
I was still in luck that he listened to my screams and waved from halfway through his window. My gaze slid from him to another person next to him, it's her. The first look of her, she turned to look at me and watched me from that car which was separating us to our destiny, hers: the daughter of the star; mine: an ordinary middle class boy.
A dash off on my shoulder brings me back to the current period, and I saw my sister standing next to me with a confused look and she asked "what are you looking at?" Maybe my silence didn't bother her.
"Finally, I am here and tired of the trip. Drop me home before you go to the practice"
Our home is in the opposite direction from the stadium, but I didn't argue about it like typical siblings and got to the car with her bags. I think it's the reason for another confused look on her face but she exchanged it with a relaxed expression after getting into the car. I prey I can meet you again Ms. Dream Girl.
