One cold December day a 13 year old girl named Haven, was walking home in the snow. She walked into her home and saw her dad, in the living room drunk. She tried to quickly go to her room but her dad grabbed her arm, and began to yell at her. Haven tried to get away from his grip, but couldn't. He began to beat her and left bruises on her arms. She began to cry as she ran to her room. She threw he bookbag, and laid in her bed, and cried. She quickly put a hoodie on to cover the bruises so her mom didn't see them.
