1. What made you want to become a reviewer? Do you have any backstory behind it?

Yeah! So, for those of you who might not already know about this, about a month ago, I decided to host my very own review shop 'Epiphany Reviews' where I give my personal detailed feedback on your submitted BTS-centered fanfictions.

Around a year ago, I started my very first service book which was a promotion book for K POP fanfiction titled 'The Lilac Library'. Within the very first week of publishing, it was a huge success thanks to everyone's incredible support and I believe it ended up promoting around 102 K POP fanfictions before it was put on a hiatus because my personal life was getting a tad bit busy.

A lot of writers kept expressing how grateful they were for that promotion book and how happy it ended up making them which made me feel so warm and joyful inside. Well, I like doing anything for a good cause, so I decided that I won't stop at the promotion book, I'll continue to host more service books in the coming years for the benefit of all fanfiction writers on Wattpad.

That's when after a year, I published my second service book;  my review shop 'The Epiphany Reviews'. This was sparked by my interest in lifting fellow writers to reach their full potential. Plus, I started this shop as soon after receiving my long holidays from university. So, I figured that I'd have a lot of time to invest in this project till my university reopened again.

Firstly, in most review shops I've participated in, though they were all very organized and well-hosted, the reviews that were given can be very plain and generic. For each criterion, they would have around three or four sentences about why the book is good or bad without making the review specific to the book in question. In my opinion, I found them to be very lacking in the appropriate feedback section to boost writers who have so much potential.

Plus, the reviewers wouldn't read the entire book, rather they'd read the first 10 chapters and then base the whole review on those few chapters. I understand that these reviewers in question have their personal lives to deal with, plus they don't even get paid to review books on Wattpad, so I completely get why they wouldn't want to read all the chapters in the numerous books assigned to them.

However, one must understand that if the reviewer reads only a specific amount of chapters, they'd be very susceptible to missing any plot twists or major additions in the later chapters that could completely turn their initial review of the book around. Moreover, most reviewers would only point out the major negative points in the book, yet they wouldn't give any practical methods on how the author could improve further so that they won't make those same mistakes again.

Therefore, by taking into account the flaws I've noticed in other review shops such as the generic and unspecific reviews, lack of feedback on how to fix the flaws in writers' books, and not reading the whole book to truly grasp the concept of the story, I decided to open my own review shop where I'd contradict those flaws to ensure that writers are challenged to meet their full potential.

Therefore, in my review shop "Epiphany Reviews", you will find lengthy and detailed reviews of submitted books bearing my personal opinion on what I liked/disliked about the submitted stories, and what I believe the author should do to overcome any negative points identified in their writing style. My reviews are also hyper-specific to each individual book's plot, characters, and author's writing style. Furthermore, no matter the number of chapters, I read the entirety of the submitted book from the beginning to the end chapter to familiarize myself well with the story.

Unfortunately, this does end up taking a lot of time for a review to be published, especially when a book has a significant amount of chapters to be read. However, I try my very best to carefully read and analyze all the submitted stories and write a detailed review specifically catered to each story. I agree, it's a lot of work on my part, but seeing everyone's wonderful support and seeing the significant impact it seems to have on everybody here, makes the effort so worth it!

Basically, when I first started as a writer on Wattpad, I had such an incredible set of people supporting during a time when I felt like giving up on my stories. I'll forever be grateful to all those people who have supported me throughout the years. Therefore, I want to give something back to the community to support them as much as they've supported me.

So, I'm committed to making a difference in a writer's life and doing everything I can to help them become the best they can be on their writing journey. That's the story of my review shop!!

I'd like to thank everybody for all the support shown towards the "Epiphany Reviews" review shop. You have no idea just how deeply I appreciate all of you! I love y'all so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️
