Stacy rested her hand on Angela's shoulder to comfort her. She was really concerned. Angela was...fine but not really. She hadn't said much to anyone. All she could think was that she fucked up. Big time. She felt like there was no coming back from that one.

She knew her dad would be pissed. But she didn't have to face him yet. What she had to face now was the throbbing headache she had. She still couldn't breathe out of her nose, her entire face was hurting, and Jake and Chad wouldn't shut up from outside of the room.

And she couldn't say anything. Well she could've, but she didn't want to. Her throat was dry, she could still taste blood in her mouth, and her throat was sore. She just wanted to go home and sleep, but she couldn't. She'd have to wait for her dad to pick her up, make her explain everything, eat dinner, take a shower, and then try to get a good night's rest without any loud noises.

"Do you feel any better?"  Stacy questioned the blonde, softly, making sure not to talk too loud.

Angela nodded, but it wasn't really true. She didn't know why she nodded, she just did it and then it was too late.

Stacy moved her hand from Angela's shoulder, down to her cold hand. "I don't think so...does your head still hurt really bad?"

The blonde nodded again. "Yeah, but I think I'll be fine."  Angela's voice was raspy from crying so much. Her throat was sore and dry and she just wanted to go home.

"I'm sorry, this wasn't supposed to happen.." Stacy told her, apologizing while she caressed Angela's palm lightly.

"It's not your fault Stacy, it's mine...I went too far and...this is what I get I guess." Angela spoke, ending it with a short smile as she rested her face in her hand.

"Well, it wasn't just you who did it, it was all of us." Stacy told her. "Just...take care until you're fully healed. How long is that supposed to take by the way?"

Angela sighed. "Um, the doctor said my nose would take like...two or three weeks to heal and that the bruising would go away around the same time." She explained. "God, this spring break is gonna suck!" She said, with a smile that left just as quick as it came.

Stacy smiled. "It always does, doesn't it?" She looked at her. Now, that made Angela smile again.

She chuckled. "Yeah, it does." The two just smiled at each other for a second. Angela always thought it was crazy how fast Stacy could make her happy.

The nurse came into the room after that moment. She told Angela that her father had discharged her and was waiting for her downstairs. She thanked her and she and Stacy started getting up to leave.

"I think Jake took your things downstairs, so you don't have to worry about it." Stacy told her as Angela got up from her hospital bed.

"Oh okay, thanks." Angela said, with a short smile.

She and Stacy took the elevator to the main floor. At that point, Angela was just hoping her dad would be at least in a good mood, but there wasn't really a reason for him to be. The situation wasn't really ideal.

When the elevator doors opened, Angela saw just what she expected to see, the waiting room wasn't that full, so that would at least save her some embarrassment if her dad said something. She saw her dad sitting down next to Jake and Chad.

She rolled her eyes at the sight, though it hurt. She didn't want him to waste more time at the hospital just for him to talk to Jake about stupid stuff, like football, and baseball. Her dad saw her and raised his eyebrows. He stood up and grabbed her things from Jake.

Angela turned around so that she and Stacy could hug before she left. "Bye, Ange, I hope you feel better, I'll try to call tomorrow...maybe we can hang out?"
