Although she was a Gynec by profession, she would have made a great therapist he always thought.
"Nethu college bus la oru ponna pathen. Peru Tara", he started and she quietly listened to everything that he said.
From their first conversation, to meeting her at the open air theatre area later and then the canteen and how she behaved like he was stranger and all of the things that had happened today, he narrated without taking even a single paused in between.
"Ma.. edho panra ma enna. I am usually very calm. Unaku theriyum la? Avalta en na oru musician nu maraikanum? Why did I just not tell her? ", he ranted in frustration.
"Iniku na avalta sorry solirkalam. Adha vitutu periya ivan madri pesitu vanten", which did not make any sense given how much more complicated he had made the whole situation.
"Ava voice... Ketute irukalam. Rombha sincere to her craft. It was so easy to talk to her yesterday. I just wanted someone to see me as Aakash. Just Aakash. Not Aakash the musician or the singer. I am more than that. I want to be", he lamented.
"Amma idha epdi ma seri panradhu?",he asked.
"I just want to really have a do over",he said with a sigh that indicated that it was her turn to speak.
All this while Raji just patiently listened. She wanted her son to get out all the things that were weighing so heavy on him.
She was partly happy that he finally found a girl that was making him do some crazy things because she was well aware of what love and attraction can make one do.
There was also a part that was angry because the one thing she would never tolerate is him hurting anyone intentionally. Irrespective of the situation, she always hoped that he would find a way to resolve with respect and kindness.
But then he was a 20 year old and this was the first time he was talking about a girl in a way that was definitely out of the friend zone.
Should he have handled it better? Yes
Was she going to lecture him about it now? No. Not now.
"Tara.. nalla peru", she said with a smile and he let out a chuckle knowing that was his mom's first words after his long monolouge.
"Ma..", he tried to get her back on track but it was evident that his mom would end up teasing him.
"Rombha simple. Avala poi paaru. Apologize. Tell her your side. Eppodume pesi puriya vekka mudiyaadhadhu edhuvum eh illa. Just know that", she advised.
"Easy ah solita. Avale face pananum nu nenacha oru madri iruku. I just wish to have a do over", he explained.
"Trust me. The moment you see her, you wont feel this way. Rombha yosikaadha. Delay pannama ozhunga poi paathu pesu", she instructed.
"Ok ma. Pesitu solren", he said before dropping the call.

After a couple of minutes they reached the Bike parking and got to where he had parked his bike. It was a Kawasaki Ninja H2. One of the best luxury sports bike across the world that he purchased with his own earnings.
The next one on the list was Ducati Panigale V4.
It was super stylish. Complete black and gray finish that added more masculinity if that was even possible.
She stood there gaping at him looking like a Greek God leaning against his bike.
"Polama?", he asked breaking her out of the fascination.
"Idula na epdi era mudiyum?", she was clueless given the way the bike was structured and its height.
He pulled out a small footrest and gestured to use that.
"Hold my bag", she passed her tote onto him which he gladly took over.
She put her tiny arms over his well built shoulders, put her legs on the footrest and finally made it on top of the bike.
"Hold my shoulders. Enaku bike fast ah drive panradu dan pudikum", he warned in a cautious tone before taking off which made her whole body slide down to close the distance between them instantly.
Her arms wrapped around his body in a jerk with her face pasted on his back.
For the next 15 mins, neither of them shared a word but savored every split second of the ride with wind gushing over them at a speed that was too fast to make sense of.
Tara was lost in her dreams.
Her first ever bike ride was certainly one for the ages to come. Her whole body brushing against his, her hair in the crook of his neck, her hands over his wide chest and his scent all over her.
The adrenaline rush was messing with her on so many levels.
"Oru bike ride laye ipdiye aitiye di", her heart was truly concerned for her.
Just as she was about to give herself a pep-talk the bike came to a stop.
She saw that they were at one of her most favorite Amethyst Cafe.
"Ungalku epdi theriyum?", she asked curious to know how he knew her favorite place for a lunch in the city.
"Un annan en best friend. Marandhuraadha... Unoda every birthday ku inga dan table vaanganum nu adan pudipan", he explained with a smile.
"Apo enaku dan perusa ungala pathi therla.. seekram therinjukren", she promised as they walked in.
"Nee wait pannu. Park panitu varen", and he drove away.
It took a few minutes to find a parking spot.
"Already nee konjam seriya illa. Paathu badhrama nadandhuko. Do not cross lines", he instructed himself as soon as he parked and walked back to where he had left her.
But the second her beautiful frame entered his sight all of those lines became so blurry that it was impossible to even walk a straight line.
