S2 Chapter Two: Reunion

   I walked inside the BAU as I felt the warm air inside the room hit me from the cold air from outside. 

 I look around as the place has changed only a little as I walk around looking inside. The faces emerged as they all looked at me and stared at me with curiosity. 

 I walked down to the Bullpen but before I could walk inside I was stopped by a woman who hugged me so tight I could barely breathe. 

 “ I am so glad you are alive and here with me” Garcia exclaims, hugging me so tight. 

 I smile as I embrace her back. She still had her unique style that always reminded me of Mrs. Frizzle from the magic school bus. 

 She then finishes hugging me as she looks at me with a glint of happiness in her eyes and a smile that was so contagious it would make the most miserable man smile also. 

 “ Hey pen how are you?Are you doing okay? They are keeping you safe?” I ask her as she places her hands off of me unto her sides. 

 She nods as she looks at me. 

 “ Of course they are trying their best, I'm so sorry they are after you, also girly” She says to me. 

 “ It's fine I can take you,You? are an angel sent from heaven? They should not be hunting after you” I say to her. 

 She chuckles lightly as she looks at me with a hint of sadness in her eyes. 

 “ I really missed you..” She says with a hint of sadness in her voice.  

 I nodded as a symbol of agreement, Truthfully even though it had been 12 years since I have been back here. I have missed the friendships I made along the way. Mostly Derek and Garcia. 

 “ I missed you too pen, I missed you all while I was away” I admitted to her. 

 She nods as she takes my hand and leads me to the bullpen. She makes her way through the tough crowds and then I spy Derek who is really surprised to see me. 

 He smiled at me and looked shocked as I walked towards him. His arms were spread apart as he jogged towards me embracing me in a hug as he picked me up and spun her around hugging me tight, not as tight as Garcia though. 

 “ Poker Face! Oh you are back!” He exclaims putting me down and looking at me examining me and my new appearance. 

 “ Gosh you don’t look a day older than the last time I saw you” He says, shaking his head in disbelief. 

 “ It's all genes and Skin care my friend,” I say to him. 

 He shakes his head once more. 

 “ Well, Well, Well what do we have here poker face? Who was the lucky person who got a ring around your finger” He says with a sly smile. 

 My face fell as I looked at him with a somber look at my engagement ring. I take it off and throw it in the trash. As Derek looks at me confused. 

 “ Why did you do that?” He asked me . 

 I look at home with a somber look on my face as I try my best to hold back the tears as I remember I was engaged to a pathological Liar and cheater. 

 “ I'm guessing you're not engaged anymore?” He says a little more somberly. 

 “ It’s for the best really he was no good for me I deserved better” I smile trying to mask my emotions even though Derek knew me better than anybody he knew I was masking my emotions.
