A Bryles Story

Chapter 1: Nice to meet you

It was time to get up, I had school, but I wasn't really happy. That night I couldn't sleep at all and I was really tired. There were just 6 days left to finish school, and I was really happy about that. All exams finished, but I still had to go... 15 minutes later I picked up my things and I realized I had dance, how could I forget it?! So I went up stairs as fast as my legs allowed me to take everything I needed. My mom started shouting: Come on Briar, you are gonna be late at school! That was freaking me out because my school has the strict rule that if you arrive maximum 5 minutes late, you have to leave the school. That's insane, right? In the car I started texting my friend, she didn't have school... How unfair... She already started summer! I came to school and went to class, we started making crafts ( well, we cannot make anything else, exams finished, school finished... ), that's really boring... So finally school finished. My mum drove me to dance and I was kinda excited, they told me that today a new guy was coming! When I walked in, I saw a really cute guy dancing at the studio, he was dancing incredibly amazing, so I had to stay watching. As soon as he finished, he looked at me and I started feeling kinda uncomfortable... He started walking towards me and I felt more uncomfortable, when he said:
- Hey! I'm Myles, I'm the new guy. What's your name?
I noticed he was really kind and sweet, but I was still nervous, but I controlled myself and I said:
- My name is Briar, nice to meet you! You danced incredibly amazing!
With a huge and really nice smile, he looked at me with his shiny and amazing eyes and said:
- Thank you so much! I'm sure you are amazing too!
I got really nervous, and you could tell he was also nervous. But then, he turned and walked towards the center of the studio, and he said:
- I wanna se you dance
So I walked there really slowly and excited to perform to him, so I turned on the music and started dancing as good as I could.
While I was dancing, he looked at me with a really sweet smile and I felt kinda uncomfortable, but I felt great too. As I finished, he began to applaud me, and he said:
- You are amazing! I'm sure you and I would make an amazing team
With a big smile, I answered him:
- I think so, but I'm not sure if I can beat you
And we both started laughing.
Then all class came in and we started with it.
When class finished, I picked out my things and I walked towards the door to go home, when he took my hand and with his big eyes looking at me, he said:
- Will I see you tomorrow?
I felt a very starge but awesome feeling I never felt before, and I answered him:
- Of course, hope I can see you too!
And we both smiled and went home.
This day was amazing, and I can't wait to tomorrow to see him again.
