Chapter 111: Audition

"Director seulgi, how was it?" Jin, who was sitting beside her, asked.

Seulgi shook her head. "Mr. Jin, do you want me to make your girlfriend the female lead of our movie? It's quite a stretch."

"Director Seulgi, don't say that. I'm not asking for a special route in." Jin laughed teasingly. "I'm just asking you for a chance. Otherwise, I won't hear the end of it from her."

Seulgi was bewildered. This top celebrity was different. He had pushed his girlfriend into the audition, but did not use his power to let her pass.

Lisa had already changed into her ballet shoes in advance. She slowly walked in and bowed to the judges.

When Seulgi saw Lis, her eyes lit up.

When she auditioned for Music Center, she thought that this girl had great potential. She didn't expect her to come for an audition.

"I'm Lisa." She looked at the judges and slowly bowed.

She had learned ballet before, so she was very clear about the etiquette in ballet.

Jin also looked at her with interest.

"Alright, we can start now," Seulgi said.

Lisa's performance did not disappoint Seulgi.

She didn't start with her lines like the other actors who had auditioned before. Instead, she jumped a little and seemingly stumbled while doing so. She sat on the ground and started to say her lines while holding her legs.

The lines here were the soliloquy of the female protagonist after she received a lashing from her teacher. It was to portray her feelings of loss and confusion.

Lisa added a small dance for herself, showing her confusion.

When she started to read her lines, her voice gradually changed from disappointment to determination, and her eyes gradually brightened.

It was as if a person in a desperate situation had finally seen hope.

The staff and the other judges held their breath as they watched Lisa's performance. Seulgi looked at the girl's face on the monitor and couldn't stop smiling.

They always needed someone solid to be taking the leading role.

After Lisa's performance, she stood up and bowed to the judges.

When she looked at Jin, he was only looking at his script.

Lisa was a little disappointed. Evidently, this man was not her third brother.

"Alright, you can go out and wait for the results now. Good luck." Seulgi said to Lisa with a smile.

She had already chosen Lisa as the female lead, but she still needed to talk it over with the others.

Lisa had just walked out of the door when she heard a scream from the crowd outside.

"What's wrong with you? Do you know how much my clothes cost?" Lisa frowned and looked at the crowd. In the middle of the crowd, she saw Jennie, who was covering her face.

The person standing beside her was Han Mi-rae.

Jim had been in the industry for many years and was rarely involved in scandals. Apparently, he and Han Mi-rae were already in the talks of marriage.

Han Mi-rae was not some insignificant lady. Her family was very rich, and her mother was a famous manager in the industry who had a lot of resources.

However, this royalty of the entertainment industry didn't want to be a manager like her mother. Instead, she wanted to go on stage and become an artiste, who was in the limelight.

She wasn't good at singing and dancing, and her acting skills were average. However, she had a lot of connections and resources.

At that moment, she was frowning at Jennie. There was a green tea stain on her white dress.

"You're just a fledgling composer. How dare you pour water on me?" Han Mi-rae said.

[A/n: fledgling means arising]

Simple insults did not seem to be enough to vent her anger. She reached out, grabbed Jennie's hair, and pushed her to the ground. "Apologize to me, understood?"

Jennie's hair and clothes were in a mess. She bit her lip and allowed Han Mi-rae to humiliate her in front of the crowd.

A few people wanted to stop her, but they were also pulled away.

"You shouldn't offend Han Mi-rae. You know what kind of person her mother is."

"Jennie is skilled and popular, but Han Mi-rae's mother could end her overnight, right?"

"Don't meddle in other people's business. Han Mi-rae's boyfriend is one of the judges for this audition. We can't afford to offend Jin."

Lisa heard their discussion and snorted in her heart. She stepped forward and grabbed Han Mi-rae's hand when her slap was about to land on Jennie's face.
