Chapter 7: Showdown in Pewter City [Season 1, Episode 5]

[the show opens with a hole being dug, a shovel intermittently coming up to scoop dirt out.]
[jessie appears]

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.

[james appears holding a rose]

James: To unite all peoples within our nation.

Both: To denounce the evils of truth and love.

To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie: Jessie.

James: James.

Brock: They again [Said annoyed with the fact that they will have to see team rocket so much times]
Prof. Oak: To who you two were saying that? [Said confused because he didn't see anyone in front of them]
Jessie: We were just rehearsing our motto
James: Yeah, we need to always remember how to do our motto right [Said agreeing with Jessie]
May: And you guys really like digging holes, right? [Said annoyed with that, since she also was caught by one of these holes]

[meowth appears holding a shovel and climbing out the hole]

Meowth: Meowth. I don't get why you two are always talking and I'm stuck doing all the work!

Jessie: We haven't got much time.

If they're headed for Pewter City, they'll have to pass this way!

James: And they'll fall right into our trap.

Ash: Did we fall for that? [Said not remembering well that moment]
Misty: I also don't remember
Prof. Oak: We will discover if we see more

[they start shoveling manically slowly disappearing into the hole]

Meowth: Come on! Dig it deep, then we'll cover it up so well they'll never guess it's a trap!

[they cover it with a bamboo cover then with leaves then with dirt making it undetectable]

Meowth: Ha! Perfect!

James: Ah! I can't even tell where the trap is!

[they jump over to another place looking for it]

Jessie: Wasn't it here?

[they jump to the otherside of the screen looking for the hole]

James: Is this it?

[they hop to another place]

Jessie: Where did it go!

Meowth: It's over there.

Prof. Kukui: What's the point in making a good trap, since you can't remember where you made it? [Said confused with how team rocket could forget the trap that they made seconds before]
Jessie: We always remember where our traps are! [Said angry]
Dawn: That scene doesn't make it seem like that

[they finally jump to the center of the screens looking around]

Team rocket: Hm.

[they starts to sink before falling in]

Team rocket: Hm? Huh?

[they groan as they get buried by their own trap]

Everyone in the room started laughing except team rocket

Ash: Oh man, i really don't know what to say about that! Forgetting and falling in your own trap [Said between laughs]
Misty: They are idiots, that's all [Said laughing as well]
Brock: But it's really funny seeing that [Said in more controlled laughs]
May: I want to see more of scenes like that [Said with a funny smile in her face]
Dawn: Me as well!
