hellow pookies 😁 since im almost done with chapter 3 ill just drop some scrapped content of this book! i made the scrapped version of youre my nepenthe like, a year ago? wowie

old o/n designs that i didnt like @_@

also this unfinished one.. but i like the new one i drew in information!! pretty proud of it 😼 the new one is pretty much inspired by the second image here, just more... blueish purpleish?? will be also changing the book cover soon

^ fun fact !! theres a gif version of this (where its animated), but since wattpad is stingy af and cant let me upload gifs that have high mb, the gif has drowned in the depths of my photo gallery and wont be used ever again (damn. it probably collected some dust overtime too)

"Urrgghh..." I flutter my eyelids and groan. I feel a pang of pain in my head.
Where... am I?
..It seems like there's no one here on this beach.

All I can remember is.. that someone cast a spell on me, and then pushed me off a cliff.. my head still hurts from the water's impact.

I guess that person's spell led me here.
No point in being mad at that guy, I suppose. they're probably very far away from me by now. The ocean looks like it never ends.

I look at the new environment I'm in, and the sky.

Oh no.
It's about to rain. The once white fluffy clouds became grey and gloomy ones, water began to pour and the small drops of rain fall on my face.

I have to find shelter, fast.

I run, trying to get to a small hideout or at least- anything.

Your legs began to hurt. More rain fell on your face, you probably look like a mess right now.
You were so focused on running and finding shelter, that you didn't even notice you bumped into someone.

"Ah!" You shrieked, you cast a barrier spell on yourself with your remaining energy out of instinct.
"HEY! What was that for? At least be careful next time?!"

You flinch when you see them, the one you bumped into was a paintbrush holding their umbrella, and you also saw a lightbulb holding their own umbrella as well.

Do they have evil intentions? You're so weak.. you can't do anything if they plan to do something to you. "S...Stay away from me, potential fiends!" You back off, not having the strength to stand up.

You and the paintbrush were on alert, eyeing each other and fearing that you and them may do something malicious.

You observe them to see if they do anything vicious...

"Are you.. one of those... mepho-" The paintbrush spoke out, but their sentence was interrupted by the lightbulb.

The lightbulb gave the paintbrush a small shove. "Fiends? Do they mean friends? Painty, what's this.. er- wizard-looking person talkin' about?"

"You guys.. look innocent for now. What are your names?" You ask the two.

The lightbulb brightened up, wanting to introduce herself and her friend. "Oh! The names Lightbulb! And this guy.. girl? Right here is Paintbrush, my best pal!" She giggled, pointing at Paintbrush.

After Lightbulb introduced herself and Paintbrush, she tried to help you get up.. but your barrier was in the way.

"Oh.. uh, right. Let me remove that real quick." You turn off your barrier, but after doing so...

You blacked out, mostly due to the lack of stamina.

yeeesh. very ugly, very yucky. i kind of like what the chapter was going for, but my old writing sucked ass and ruined it 👿

anyway, next chapter will probably be out in an hour or so? im also thinking about making extra scenes for this book! theyll be like lil comics (which'll be in extras section) please let me know if you guys like the idea of a comic being published every time a new chapter is out!!
