I once delighted in the shards
of my broken heart
The shatter gave me reason
to accept fate & excuse my faults.
But the animus filling me
More than creases my brows:
the shards of my heart
let me know I'm dying
&
you'd never know how much it hurts.
I resolve, be it loneliness forever,
I shall never be silent because
It's NOT your absence
It's NOT an acceptance:
I'll pick up the pieces of my heart.
In the theme of creating a collaborative piece, I want you to help me decide the title of this poem. Comment a title and the most popular one gets picked!
