𝑪𝑨𝑺𝑺𝑨𝑵𝑫𝑹𝑨 𝑾𝑨𝑺 𝑺𝑯𝑶𝑶𝑲 𝑨𝑾𝑨𝑲𝑬 𝑭𝑹𝑶𝑴 𝑯𝑬𝑹 𝑷𝑶𝑺𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑶𝑵 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑪𝑶𝑼𝑪𝑯, panic on everyone's faces, and before she could even question what was going on, Alicia had grabbed ahold of her hand, pulling her down to the engine room

Where Nick and Madison were already hiding. Nick reached out, grabbing ahold of her and pulling her into his side, once everyone had entered the small room, making a tight fit. Daniel took to guarding the door, his pistol held tightly in his hand

Nick shielded Cassandra with his body as the brunette girl tried to listen to the voices outside — they were speaking Spanish. She could understand it to an extent — but this was way out of her capabilities

"One of them is saying they like the boat," Daniel translated. "He's impressed by Strand's wealth and wants to know how much it costs, and Strand says he'd prefer not to discuss money."

"Careful, Victor," Madison mumbled

Cassandra gripped Nick's hand. She couldn't handle more bloodshed,
Nick rubbed his thumb over her knuckles, trying to soothe her.

The voices continued, and Daniel translated

"Let's talk about gold, then, shall we?" Cassandra listened to Daniel, worried for Strand,"two bars, one per head."

Cassandra took notice of the worried looks on everyone's faces. They all had the gut feeling that it would not end well

"Now he's saying it's a big vessel for two people."

"Oh, come on," Nick mumbled, resting his hand on the ceiling as Cass looked up at him with a worried look

"He wants to make sure there are no infected on board."

Cassandra shook her head, fear flooding her veins. It was sad how normal that feeling had become to her, but she was grateful for it... better than feeling numb, better than getting used to the world.

"What's going on, Luis?" they heard strands voice, making Cassandra snap her head up to the door. "They have the gold'

And in a instant everything changed Cassandra jumped hearing multiple gunshots go off and then silence only the loud footsteps of someone walking could be heard before the boat's power started again making everyone jump up and leave the room
