Eyes On Me

I closed the door of my car and made my way towards the café, a delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm, freshly-baked muffins filled the air.

I noticed Jasmine and Renee sitting in the far corner of the cafe waving at me to come over.

"Hey guys" I said with a warm smile as I sat down next to jasmine in the booth.

"Hi y/n! We got you a drink. We weren't sure what you like, so we got you an iced coffee," Renee exclaimed, handing me my drink with a warm smile.

"Oh! Thank you! I'll pay you back when I can" I replied taking the drink into my hands. 

"No no, don't worry about that, I just want to dig into this boy drama you have for us" Renee replied, leaning onto the table slightly in anticipation.

I chuckled slightly before looking down in embrassment. I could already feel my cheeks heating up just from the thought of Anthony. So much for standing on business.

I sighed. "Ok well.. I may or may not have a thing for someone..." I paused.

"someone...?" Jasmine asked, signaling me to continue.

"Someone we work with..."

"OH MY GOD WHO??" Jamsine practically yelled, making afew people around us turn there heads before going back to whatever they were doing.

"Wait a minute, let us guess who," Renee interrupted, her face suddenly turning from excitement to a focused expression.

"Ooh yes! Ok uhmm... is he older or younger than you" Jasmine immediatly spoke up, playing along with Renee's idea.

I looked at them is disbelief befoe replying almost immidiatly.
"Older." Dont ask how i know. I just know he's 24, so 2 years older than me.

"Jasmine that was a silly question,
Y/n's the youngest in the cast" Renee added.

"ohhh yeah' Jasmine replied.

'Ok, does heave have more than one charcter??" Renee asked. I nodded my head is response with an embarrassed smile plastered upon my face.

"Is he apart of ensambe?" Jasmine asked. I shook my head.

"Is it Anthony or Daveed?" Renee asked. She got me. My smile grew and I looked down in embarassment.

"Omg which one!" Jasmine asked, practically almost jumping out of her seat.

I paused for a moment before quietly replying.
"Ant."

The sudden sound of squeals filled the air as Jasmin practically leaped onto me, wrapping her arms around me in excitement while Renee covered her mouth, smiling ear to ear.

"STOP YOU GUYS WOULD BE SO CUTE" Jasmine said shaking me.

"I know rightt" I replied, sassily flicking my hair.

We sat for a while, discussing more things about the production. Opening night was just one week away and I was so excited. I didn't really have any family to come watch as I kinda left them when I was young. They weren't abusive per say, they just neglected me. Thought dance and theatre were stupid, so they put all their attention on my younger brother, Josh, who player soccer and such.
