After hours of agonizing over his feelings, Book finally reached a decision.

With a heavy heart and trembling hands, he dialed Force's number.

When Force picked up, Book's voice was steady but terse, instructing him to meet at their favorite spot.

Without waiting for a response, Book ended the call, leaving Force bewildered and anxious about the impending conversation.

Force arrived at the secluded park, a hidden gem nestled at the edge of the city. Its obscurity was part of its charm, offering solace and privacy to those who stumbled upon it.

As he paced beneath the canopy of trees, his thoughts whirled with uncertainty, each step echoing the cadence of his racing heart.

Finally, Book emerged from the shadows, his presence both a relief and a source of apprehension for Force.

Approaching him, Book's eyes held a resolve that Force couldn't quite decipher. Sensing Force's restless energy, Book wasted no time in addressing the elephant in the room.

"I know you've been waiting for an answer," Book began, his voice barely above a whisper yet carrying the weight of his emotions. "And I've been doing a lot of thinking."

Force's breath caught in his throat as he waited for Book's words, the tension thickening with each passing moment.

Taking Force's hands in his own, Book continued, his voice steady but laced with vulnerability.

"I never believed in love, not until I met you. But I was scared, Force. Scared that my feelings were one-sided, that you didn't see me the same way."

Force's heart sank at the admission, guilt and regret flooding his senses. "I'm sorry, Book. I never meant to make you doubt..."

Book shook his head, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "It's not just that," he confessed, his gaze unwavering. "There was a moment when I almost gave up on us. When you... when you raised your hand."

The memory hung between them, heavy with unspoken words and unresolved emotions. Force's chest tightened with remorse, knowing the pain he had caused.

"But then," Book continued, his voice softening, "you showed up at my doorstep, drenched from the rain, with an apology on your lips. And in that moment, Force, I forgave you. I forgave you because... because I couldn't help but love you."

Force felt a lump form in his throat as Book's words washed over him, the weight of his confession settling in the space between them.

"And now," Book said, his voice barely above a whisper, "I want to be with you. I want to be your boyfriend."

The air seemed to still as Book's declaration hung in the silence, the gravity of his words reverberating in the quiet of the park.

And then, as if breaking free from the shackles of uncertainty, Force let out a joyous cry, his arms enveloping Book in a tight embrace. "Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!" he exclaimed, his voice raw with emotion as he lifted Book off the ground, spinning him around in a whirlwind of elation.

In that moment, beneath the dappled light of the park, amidst the rustle of leaves and the gentle sway of branches, two hearts found solace in the embrace of love's undeniable truth.
