Olivia stayed for Max's and Checo's post-race interviews. Her entire family had already left to get ready for the celebratory dinner. Olivia was not just happy about the race outcome but also about the fact that Neither Max nor herself would have to suffer through a  family dinner. This way they could just spend their evening with the rest of the team.

Once the interviews were over the three of them left and went back to the hotel. It had been an early race so they still had time to rest and get ready for the night of celebration. Olivia still had time to get a short run in with Lewis before she had to start getting ready.

Funny

I'll see you at the lobby in 10

As they once more had to slowly exit the hotel through the crowd that had gathered, but once they were out they started their run.

"Honestly Liv, I'm not sure how your team does it" said Lewis "Max had tyres so old they could have blown up at any moment and he was still 15 seconds away. Checo could've caught my any time he wanted to, he just chose to preserve his tyres" he shook his head "I can't believe it".

Olivia turned to look at him as they ran side by side "Well I don't know how you do it Lew" she said honestly "You are so used to winning, you are a 7 time world champion and this season has been complete shit for you and your team" said Olivia as she breathed heavily trying to match Lewis' pace "and still you turn around and smile and thank the crowd that booed at you".

Lewis chuckled and looked down without stopping "It was a fantastic crowd" he said still smiling.

"They were booing!" said Olivia as she stopped running. Lewis stopped his run as he saw she stayed behind and walked back to her as she took a couple of steps from side to side while holding on to her rib cage. She shook her head, clearly frustrated "How do you do it Lew? I mean I can't even be in the same room as my own mother because she's such a bitch to me, but you'll face thousands of people who are mean to you for no reason at all and smile at them and be kind to them" she said in frustration as she looked at him "I don't get it".

"It's not so black and white Liv" Lewis said calmly "The crowd was fantastic, you know it's true. The way they were cheering, even if it wasn't for me, that's some true passion and I love seeing that" he said "Yes, they booed at me but they don't even know me" he paused "I would like to believe that if they did know me then maybe they wouldn't be booing, they'd be cheering" he shrugged.

Olivia let out a deep breath and couldn't help herself as she quickly wrapped her arms around Lewis "Yes they would, I truly know it".

Lewis chuckled as he returned her hug "As for your mom" he started. Olivia grunted and released the hug "I don't know enough about it to give you proper advice but if my own parents were always criticizing me and being mean to me, I think I would hide from them too. We are all human after all".
